Which New Exotic Ornaments Do You Want In Destiny 2?

Bungie opened up a call for new Exotic Ornaments. Clearly, they’ve realized that we need more since Guardians started making their own recently. The thing is, they’re only offering us three. Agonizingly, they’re giving us a choice of twelve Exotic weapons to choose from. This is incredibly painful, but I’m now going to list each one and give you some thoughts to ponder as to whether they’re worth a new Exotic Ornament or not.

Crimson

This Exotic Hand Cannon is incredible, at least I think so. It brings back the gimmick of healing you while you murder enemies, something all Guardians enjoy. It needs to become relevant again, so yes, let’s get a new Ornament for it.

Fighting Lion

Outside of this weapon being a funny source of bugs, it’s useless. I don’t ever want to see it come into rotation again. Put it and its non-existent new Ornament in the bin.

Graviton Lance

Do you know what? This weapon is great. I love the lore and concept around it firing shots through a black hole. I think we could do with seeing it come back into the game a bit, so let’s have a new Ornament on it please.

Le Monarque

This bow is mental. for me, it was the highlight of the Black Armory, but outside of that I don’t see the point in it. I’m quite happy to let it die to be honest. This one might be a marmite moment though.

Merciless

Merciless is a weapon that’s basically a constant bug in Destiny 2. It’s always been relevant, but I still think it deserves more attention. Mostly because the new Ornament could make it look like anything better than it does.

Riskrunner

You can’t deny that Riskrunner is such a powerful tool in Destiny 2. This weapon is brilliant, relevant, and actually makes for an incredibly powerful Arc Hunter build. I’d love to see it get more attention, so let’s get a new Ornament.

Skyburner’s Oath

I don’t remember this weapon ever doing anything noteworthy. I think some Guardians use it for specific loadouts, but it’s useless outside of that. Let’s leave it in the past and not grant it a new Ornament.

Sunshot

Yes. This is the most ridiculous and powerful Exotic Hand Cannon in my opinion. It creates a sun where you just killed an enemy. Each shot explodes. There’s nothing to hate about it. Please Bungie, give this one a new Ornament.

Sweet Business

Sweet Business is the kind of Exotic weapon you use when it’s just the most powerful one in your inventory. It’s nothing special, and you don’t ever particularly enjoy using it. However, it is a nice piece of the past. Let’s have a new Ornament for the Guardian Games 2022 or something like that.

Telesto

Honestly, if Bungie gave this weapon an Ornament that made it look like the Needler from Halo, I’d die happy. This is the only new Ornament we really need, and the quest to get it needs to feel like playing Halo as well. Let’s have it Bungie.

Trinity Ghoul

I’ve never had a bad experience using this weapon. To me, it’s almost the best bow in the game. I will always say yes to having a reason to use it again. Making it look better is just a bonus. Give it to us Bungie.

Vigilance Wing

There’s a reason Guardians don’t use this weapon anymore, it’s not interesting. We don’t need a new Ornament for it, we just need to forget about it. Leave it alone Bungie, we all do.
