Previously On Destiny Covers The Entire History of Destiny 2 and More

If you’re curious about Destiny 2 lore, you’re far from alone. Pretty much every Guardian seeks to learn more about the story of the Destiny universe, and there’s a seemingly endless chasm of it to uncover. However, now there’s a site you can use to catch up on all of it. Regardless of when you join the Guardian community, you can look back at Destiny 1 lore, or learn about all the stuff going on in the current season. This website is called Previously on Destiny, and it’s incredible.

What is Previously on Destiny?

Put plainly, Previously on Destiny is a lore tracker. It’s much more accessible than that though. It’s a way to keep track of the stories within the Destiny universe that makes sense. These games are notorious for hiding information in small places, and none of that information is in chronological order. This website takes it all and puts it into a timeline that makes sense. You can read it from start to finish, and come away knowing so much more about the franchise than you did before.

Helpfully, the content is broken up into the base game and expansions for Destiny 1. So you have Destiny as the first category, followed by The Dark Below, then House of Wolves. It covers all the major expansions and then moves onto Destiny 2.

With Destiny 2, the lore is split into the base game and expansions once again. You’ll be pleased to know that seasons count as expansions. So you can read through all the stories from each season individually. This is something that I’ve been waiting for for years.

The greatest thing about the site is that it’s up to date with the current season. You can read up on everything in Season of the Chosen. It also has two segments for Season 14 and Season 15, both of which are redacted right now.

I think that even if you’re not interested in lore, you should check this website out. It has a lot of information that will only enhance your experience with the game as you move forward. Knowing the stories behind the activities you’re taking on is never a bad thing. Plus, it gives you a chance to relive the fantastic story in Season of the Chosen all over again.
