New Weapons And Loadouts In Destiny 2

Last night we were treated to a reveal event for Destiny 2, and a lot of information was given to us in a short amount of time. One thing that was glazed over quite well, at least for those of us watching the stream who haven’t had a chance to play the game yet, was the new weapons and loadout system.

The new loadout system changes the current one a little, altering it from Primary, Special, and Heavy weapons, to Kinetic, Energy, and Power weapons. We already know what Kinetic weapons are, Assault Rifles, Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, and Scout Rifles. Energy Weapons are different and include some of the new weapons shown off last night such as Grenade Launchers, as well as old weapons such as Fusion Rifles. While we don’t have any confirmation of what Power Weapons are, we saw some very impressive weapons as part of the stream such as cannon that sends out pulses of Arc energy into enemies, and a giant satellite cannon.

The difference between the two loadout systems is the freedom it allows Guardians in how they outfit themselves. A Grenade launcher is useful, but very high power, so probably belongs in your Power slot. If you’re partial to sidearms or SMGs then you can put one of either in the Energy and Kinetic slots, or you could opt for a sidearm and a Hand Cannon, to keep things consistent. Alternatively you could give yourself a Fusion Rifle and Shotgun and keep the punchier weapons out in front so that you pack way more firepower. The point is that your loadout is exactly what you want it to be, and that’s going to make a big difference between how you play Destiny, and Destiny 2 when it releases.

In addition to the new weapon types and loadouts, we have a new manufacturer. Veist is the name of the new weapon manufacturer joining the fray in Destiny 2, and they appear to specialise in SMGs, and potentially certain Power weapons. Whether we see some Exotics from this new manufacturer is still up for debate, but with the truckload of them promised by Bungie we can certainly hope for some.

Destiny 2 Gameplay Reveal Livestream Summary

Today was the Destiny 2 reveal livestream from Bungie. The live event invited both press and YouTubers or streamers to come and try out the game, in addition to the epic reveal that they streamed around the world. The details from the event follow.

The stream opened with a new trailer for Destiny 2, following Commander Zavalla’s story from his first day as a Guardian, and how he had a hand in the Tower being built from the ground up.

Luke Smith entered the stage next, and spoke a little about how Destiny 2 is a new beginning for the universe. The fact that it’s coming to PC alone means that veteran players will be playing right alongside complete newcomers, but that will probably also be the case on consoles too. He then spoke about the three things that the developers have been thinking about as they’ve been building the game.

First is a world that pulls you in. This involves having a story that players can relate to, and characters that they want to spend time with and work together with, as well as enemies. The world needs to be enticing, inviting players to explore every corner for new discoveries.

Secondly they want to create amazing things to do. This involves creating a world that’s not only attractive to groups of players, but those who want to enjoy the game as a solo experience as well, and they’ve taken steps to ensure it will work to everyone’s preferences.

The third point is that there’s always someone to play with. 50% of the players in the original game have teamed up to take on the raids, but this means 50% haven’t. This third point is a hint about how the Nightfall, Trials of Osiris, and the Raids will be available to all players through the changes being made in Destiny 2.

Next up we finally get a trailer that explains what happens to the Tower to leave all the Guardians stranded in random places around it, how the Cabal attack. The trailer shows the Cabal invading after removing the defences the guardians have set up, the attack takes the Guardians completely by surprise and cripples them.

The trailer then skips to gameplay, and we’re back behind the eyes of a Guardian in the moments the Tower is falling. Right off the mark we can see that this is a new Subclass of some kind, and they have an additional ability on top of the melee attack and grenade recharge. As two more Guardians join the fray we can see the shooting looks a bit meatier than in Destiny, and as the team fall in against a door we can see Commander Zavalla right there in the middle of the combat helping out, a real first.

Supers start coming out next, and one Guardian gets a Void shield that they can use to defend and smash enemies out of the way with. Next a Hunter pulls out a shield and spear, both sporting Arc damage, which allows them to pierce their way through the enemy ranks. Finally our Guardian pulls out their Super, a Solar sword that can throw blade shots and be brought down for massive damage.

As the player seeks out the Speaker only to find him taken by the Red Legion, Ikora lets out a huge Void Blast to take down a Cabal ship. After Amanda Holliday brings us up to a Cabal command ship, it’s time to take the fight to the leader. At this point it’s worth mentioning the plethora of new weapons that are on display, but we’ll go into those in another article. The gameplay ends with a huge Cabal telling us how our journey ends here.

After that we have a brief discussion about the story of Destiny 2, which sees the Red Legion coming to Earth to take the Traveller, to become a better class of Guardian. Players will need to spend the whole game recouping the loss that is felt at its beginning. The Cabal are jealous for the Light, and are fighting as hard as they can for it. Guardians will lose their powers and their home, and they’ll have to fight to find a new one and regain what made them great once more.

When it comes to the weapon slots things are going to be very different in Destiny 2. On top of the new guns we now have different types of slots, one for Kinetic weapons, one for Energy weapons, and Power weapons. Read more about the weapons of Destiny 2 here.

New Supers are explored now, with the Dawnblade first. This is a Warlock Subclass that uses a Solar sword mentioned earlier. The Sentinel is the Void shield ability that allowed players to push their way through the enemy forces, the shield can also be thrown to take enemies out from afar. Finally we have the Arcstrider, a Hunter Subclass that uses an Arc staff to flip and slash through enemies.

Steve Cotton, World Lead, takes to the stage next. He discusses the worlds that we’ll be exploring in Destiny 2 both in missions and free play. The usual Campaigns and Strikes, including one called The Inverted Spire, are both returning. Here it’s worth noting that this particular Strike is on a world outside of our system, meaning we’ll be travelling a long long way in Destiny 2. The Crucible of course returns, but it’s going to be 4V4 across all modes.

A big piece of news is the fact that you can launch any content without having to go to Orbit first. There are side missions, treasure maps, and new random encounters to have as you explore each planet. Lost Sectors are filled with bosses and a huge cache of treasure for you to uncover. The four world players will patrol across are Titan, Io, Earth, and Nessus, all of which we’ll explore further over the coming days.

When it comes to social options, Clans will be coming into the game in Destiny 2. Previously coordination had to happen outside of the game, but now it will be so much more integrated. Clans will be able to work together, with every activity counting towards rewards all members receive. Something new called Guided Games will allow solo players to pair themselves with a clan in order to access endgame content like the Raid.

Mark Noseworthy, Project Lead, comes onto the stage next. He talks more about the social aspect of the game, and how important it is for them to help build those relationships in Destiny 2.

Activision Blizzard Confirm Steady Stream of Content for Destiny 2

During a conference call that took place after the earnings report meeting for Activision Blizzard, it has been confirmed that Destiny 2 will have a steady stream of content after launch. This confirmation comes as a reiteration to investors who have clearly raised concerns over the sequel, given that a core complaint with the original game was the lack of updates and content after launch.

Activision Blizzard also confirmed that Destiny 2 on PC will have meaningful features that make the game relevant to PC gamers, but was reluctant to reveal further information before the gameplay reveal on May 18th.

This news is welcome after the disaster that was the post-launch content for Destiny in the beginning. The first two expansions, The Dark Below and House of Wolves, added features to the game that many felt should have been there from day one. Thus these expansions will always be seen as the missing puzzle pieces of the original game, that appeared to have been cut out of it when it was finished and held back behind time and money barriers.

Year 2’s expansion was better, The Taken King added much to the game that players had requested, as well as features they didn’t know they wanted. The hunt for Calcified Fragments is one that still consumes Guardians today, and the secrets held by the Dreadnaught are still making many question what certain items are for.

Rise of Iron, the last and latest expansion, added more mystery and a lot more content to the game. Most players are still pursuing the rewards offered by the latest DLC, and many are going through it with a fine tooth comb in order to complete their Record Books for Age of Triumph.

Bungie continues to offer updates, and not just the hot fixes that serve to balance out the current meta of the Crucible. The April update brought more to The Taken King than originally planned, and opened our eyes to the generosity of the developers that we thought were money-grabbing finks. The Dawning showed us yet again just how festive the developers could be, though we were always expecting something thanks to The Festival of the Lost and Crimson Days. Finally we have been given the Age of Triumph.

Age of Triumph is easily the best free update Destiny has ever seen It has given players who weren’t even bothered about finishing Rise of Iron a reason to play again, with records that require players to scour the whole game again more or less. It also encourages the completion of pesky quests that we haven’t quite been bothered to do as of yet.

Anything close to what we’ve seen in the latter half of Destiny’s existence will be more than welcome in Destiny 2, though I suspect a much larger plan is at play. From what we can see so far the two initial expansions are planned to relate to Trials of Osiris, and Rasputin. While Trials of Osiris is a weekly event, Rasputin is simply a mystery. Both of these expansions, it can be argued, will add more than just the content you can see, and that’s why they’re so exciting. Adding more content each week with both the expansions would fit, especially if you’re solving a mystery with Rasputin that requires you to complete a task each week or miss unlocking the next one.

This week if you’re looking for Xur you need look no further than the Tower. Head straight down from spawn, all the way into the Hall of Vanguard. If you get to the big table in the middle you’ve gone too far. Instead, make your way up to the balcony, the right hand side specifically, and you’ll find Xur lurking around behind of the wings there.

Exotic Weapon: MIDA Multi-Tool (Exotic Scout Rifle) 23 Strange Coins

This is a weapon of legends we have to be honest. As a scout rifle it’s got superb qualities for those who want to fire fast or slow. The gun was used to source the hidden chests in the Vault of Glass, though of course it’s hidden perk of being able to find these chests is now a subject of much debate. The first listed perk, MIDA Multi-Tool, boosts movement speed and makes the weapon fire on a hair trigger. Third Eye, the second perk, allows your radar to be visible when aiming down sights, part of how it was used to track certain hidden chests.

Exotic Chest Armour: Twilight Garrison (Titan class) 13 Strange Coins

If you’ve ever wanted it to look like you’ve got a massive eye at the top centre of your chest, this is the armour for you. The exotic perk, Tactical Air Support, allows you to evade while in mid-air. This is a great perk for Titans as they can hover in mid-air, and having the ability to dodge as well will make for interesting Crucible takedowns.

Exotic Chest Armour: Voidfang Vestments (Warlock Class) 13 Strange Coins

This Chest Armour has been available from Xur before, but that makes it no less exotic so it’s always worth a gander if you don’t have it. The exotic perk, Hungering Void, allows Guardians to spawn with full grenade energy for their Axion Bolt grenade, and spawns an additional seeker.

Exotic Gauntlets: Don’t Touch Me (Hunter Class) 13 Strange Coins

When you run Crota’s End, because we know everyone will have to run it again at least once for that record book and the sweet loot, these can be priceless. The perk, Defensive Reflex, makes you briefly invisible when you take melee damage from enemies. I can’t begin to tell you how important it is to be invisible when taking down Crota, as the Swordbearing duty often falls to a Hunter. Furthermore, in Prison of Elders, the invisibility can help you avoid destruction at the hands of Skolas should you choose to take him on.

Zhalo Supercell and Shock Hazard: (weapon Bundle) 30 Strange Coins and 25 Silver Dust

Maybe try a different route for the ornament if you already have the weapon, but honestly the Zhalo Supercell is a superior weapon, which you should buy if you’re looking to purchase a bundle.

Monte Carlo and Royal Flush: (weapon Bundle) 30 Strange Coins and 25 Silver Dust

We will always say that it’s better to try to get the ornaments from treasures every week, or from the Silver Dust store. Monte Carlo however, is a great weapon and worth your time if you’ve got the spare currencies.

Our Take

The MIDA Multi-Tool is a really great weapon, but Don’t Touch Me are also some of the best Gauntlets available for Hunters. As we suggest with many weeks though, you should look at your record book and decide what you need in order to complete it, because there won’t be enough Xur visits to ensure you pick up everything before the time is up. Whatever your main character is, the MIDA Multi-Tool is a fast and reliable weapon with which it’s hard to go wrong.

How Good Is The Trespasser?

This week Xur is sporting the Trespasser, a truly fantastic exotic weapon for a number of reasons, but should you buy it, and how good is it?

As an exotic Sidearm Trespasser is one of only 2 such items in Destiny, both of which are pretty incredible. Sidearms are meant to be whipped out after you’ve shot the crap out of a target with your primary, but not enough to kill them and bring them down.

Trespasser sport Arc energy, which can be useful for a number of activities, particularly those that have heroic modifiers such as the new 390 Light Raids and Heroic or Nightfall Strikes.

The first exotic perk, Be The Danger, makes the weapon fire bursts instead of single bullets. This makes for huge damage dealing from a sidearm, and you’ll see that when you use it. A second perk Relentless Tracker, enhanced motion tracker resolution with each kill. Already here we have increased damage dealt, though some recoil control may be required, and with each kill you’re tracking the enemy with more and more efficiency.

Now we add another perk, Unrepentant, which causes a superburst the next time you fire, if you reload straight after a kill. This superburst does even more damage, and makes short work of most enemies, especially those weak to Arc damage.

With all of these perks taken into consideration, it’s not hard to see where this weapon would be most useful. In terms of PVE it’s Strikes where the weapon finds its home. Lots of enemies ganging up on you can be incredibly overwhelming, when you’re primary magazine runs out this thing is your best friend, clearing space around and in front of you.

When it comes to PVP you need fast weapons, and Trespasser is the definition of fast. Whatever you’re running as your primary there’s a good chance you won’t be able to kill every Guardian you see. Trespasser can be whipped out in an instant and deal more than enough damage to finish off an enemy. The enhanced motion tracking will also help you maintain a decent aim while you run after and finish off this enemy, and superbursts could help you get team kills in Trials of Osiris.

Head left from spawn and all the way down those stairs because you’re going to see the Speaker, or at least look at him. Stop outside the entrance to his chamber and turn around because Xur is lurking right there in front of that big old door.

Exotic Weapon: Trespasser (Exotic Sidearm) 17 Strange Coins

This week it’s a golden oldie, which is only because the weapon was offered up to Guardians by Xur the week before Rise of Iron launched. This is one of only two Exotic Sidearms and for that fact alone it’s worth having. The first exotic perk, Relentless Tracker, grants increased motion tracker resolution after kills. The second, Be The Danger, makes the weapon fire bursts of bullets instead of single shots. Finally, Unrepentant, gives you a superburst the next time you fire if you reload right after a kill.

Exotic Gauntlets: Immolation Fists (Titan class) 13 Strange Coins

I can’t look at these without being impressed, they’re just so cool. On top of that, the first exotic perk, Accelerant, unlocks the subclass node Explosive Pyre for Sunbreakers without it taking up a class slot. Any enemies you kill with your hammer will explode and chain fire damage to other enemies. The second exotic perk, Rain Blows, increases melee attack speed. I don’t have to tell you how special it is to get a class ability for free, just because of this these are worth getting. 

Exotic Helmet: Obsidian Mind (Warlock Class) 13 Strange Coins

This helmet looks so dark that I don’t think light can escape it. The exotic perk, Insatiable, makes Nova Bomb kills reduce the cooldown of your next Nova Bomb. Since Nova Bombs are huge enough that they can kill whole groups of enemies, it’s always worth having more of them. 

Exotic Helmet: Knucklehead Radar (Hunter Class) 13 Strange Coins

This helmet is great for making the enemy think you’ve got either three eyes, or can’t see at all thanks to that target on your face. Anyway, the first exotic perk, Sensor Pack, means that your radar remains active while aiming down sights on primary weapons. The second, Inverse Shadow, increases super energy gained from killing minions of the Darkness. The ability to have your radar up while aiming is almost invaluable, trust me when I say you should seriously consider buying this.

Invective is really a fantastic weapon. A special weapon that regenerates ammo over time, making it great for both PVE and PVP. Ornaments can be purchased at all times, but Invective is only on sale when Xur offers it. Check out our thoughts on Invective to help your decision.

Our Take

Well, this week is a pretty good week if you’re a newcomer to Destiny. Trespasser is a great Exotic weapon, and given that it’s one of the only Sidearms that’s exotic it’s almost definitely worth having for that alone. There’s also some really great exotic armour, depending on what class your main character is, but above all of it you should be keen to purchase Immolation fists. A free class ability is nothing to turn your nose up at. Keep an eye out for our take on Trespasser later this weekend. 

How Good Is The SUROS Regime?

The SUROS Regime was recently on sale from Xur during his last brief visit to the Tower. While many of you may have purchased it to boost your collection in order to achieve that Age of Triumph record book stamp, you might not know what you now have sitting in your inventory.

The main perk of the SUROS Regime is SUROS Legacy. This perk grants additional damage to the bottom half of each magazine. If you get a kill with this second half of the magazine you also have a chance to regenerate health. What this results in is you blasting out half the magazine before you’ve seen anything, in PVP at least. In PVE this weapon may grant you some health in a clutch moment, but it’s PVP where it exceeds. That additional damage will mean you get the kill before your opponent, and you’ll probably get a decent health buff if they’ve been aiming at your head. Having the advantage in one on one fights in PVP is so important, and that’s why this gun is extremely viable for all Crucible matches.

Other set perks include Spinning Up, which causes the weapon to be fired faster the longer the trigger is held. Thunderlord also comes with this perk, and it’s really great to see in action, bolstering the weapon’s capabilities in PVP even further. This perk can be switched out for Focused Fire, which slows the rate of fire when zooming in on targets, conversely increasing damage dealt at the same time. This one can feel a bit counter-intuitive, but if you’re a Guardian who enjoys firing down a scope then this is the perk to go for.

A second set of perks include Hammer Forged, which improves accuracy and range, great for Focused Fire and anyone who likes to aim down sights to blast their enemies away. Or you can switch it out to Lightweight, which grants +2 agility to your character. Other weapons with this perk really help you out in Strikes and Raids, and it’s worth having that additional agility if you can get hold of it.

To conclude, SUROS Regime is almost certainly a PVP focused weapon, and it’s always been that way since Year 1. With that said, in PVE it can help you move around and dodge enemies faster than anyone else, get clutch health boosts against minions of the Darkness, and help you finish off tougher enemies with the last half of the magazine.

Well now if you need to find Xur you’re going to head to the Tower! Once there you need to go left from spawn, all the way down the stairs and pas that pointless New Monarchy representative. Make a run like you’re going to see the Speaker, but at the last minute just keep on running past the entrance to his chamber so he thinks he has a friend but actually ends up crying creepy tears. If you make it to the balcony have a look around, Xur is lurking against the barriers like he wants to push you off.

Exotic Weapon: Suros Regime (Exotic Auto Rifle) 23 Strange Coins

The Suros Regime is an iconic weapon that’s been a part of Destiny since year 1. It might have had a paint job since then, but its perks are still formidable. The SUROS Legacy perk grants additional damage to the bottom half of all magazines, and gives you a chance to heal with every kill.

Exotic Helmet: An Insurmountable Skullfort (Titan class) 13 Strange Coins

This helmet changes your face into something that’s both digital and incredibly shiny. It’s perk, Improved Transfusion, makes it so kills with Storm Fist immediately grant health regeneration. You’ll also respawn with full melee charge, and gain a second one to boot.

Exotic Gauntlets: Nothing Manacles (Warlock Class) 13 Strange Coins

These gauntlets are badass, that’s all I’ve got to say about how they look because it’s undeniable. Seriously just go and check them out quickly. Now you’ve done that, the perk, Scatter Charge, will enable tracking for Scatter Grenades, and allow you to hold an extra Scatter charge. I don’t need to tell you just ho crazy this is, especially in PVP. 

Exotic Gauntlets: Shinobu’s Vow (Hunter Class) 13 Strange Coins

Don’t be fooled by these gauntlets. They’re not the fanciest of armour for a Hunter by any means, but they do allow you that little exotic advantage. The perk, New Tricks, grants an improved skip grenade, and an additional grenade charge so that you’ve got plenty of them going around. To top that off you’ll be throwing those grenades faster thanks to the Fastball perk.

Dragon’s Breath and Tiger Shark: (weapon Bundle) 30 Strange Coins and 25 Silver Dust

Dragon’s Breath is yet another iconic weapon of Destiny year 1, getting added with The Dark Below. Dragon’s Breath allows you to create what is essentially a small sun on the battlefield with each shot, and having look like a tiger is just something else.

Our Take

Okay, so there’s a good range of armour on display this week, but the Suros Regime is definitely where it’s at. We’d recommend you buy that and just get on with your week, but if you’ve already earned it elsewhere then some of that armour to build up your collection might be worth a shout. Honestly though, if you’re heading from Light 300 to 400, get some of this stuff, because it’ll make your life easier in the long run. 

How To Get All 6 Class Specific Weapons

Ever since the launch of The Taken King the Gunsmith has been offering Guardians the chance to earn reputation with him. This reputation leads to weapon orders for prototype Legendary weapons, some of which are well worth trying out. This isn’t all however, as sometimes he’ll offer up a quest, an opportunity to earn something more from him, something exotic. This is the beginning of class-specific exotics, one for Hunter, Warlock, and Titan, and all three will be needed in order to complete the Age of Triumph record book. Here is a quick guide as to how to obtain these weapons, but be aware that in the background you should probably be paying the Gunsmith a bit of attention already, to rank up in the meantime if nothing else.

Step 1: reach rank 2 with the Gunsmith

This step is pretty self-explanatory, you need to earn enough reputation with the Gunsmith to reach rank 2. This can be done by earning reputation in Golden Age Relic drops, or by completing the weapon tests he sets each week. You can complete up to five each week, so it’s worth doing that now if you want a chance of earning the goodies.

Once you reach rank 2 you’ll receive the Back in the Saddle quest, which will lead to a Legendary class-specific weapon, Susanoo for Warlocks, Immobius for Titans, and Stillpiercer for Hunters.

Back in the Saddle

The first part of the quest tasks you with killing enemies with a certain weapon while a certain telemetry is active. The second part of the quest requires you to gather weapon parts from Rare or Legendary weapons of the type that the eventual Legendary you’ll receive is, Shotgun for example. You need to dismantle 10 weapons to gather all of these. This is how you obtain the Legendary class weapons, but those exotics are what matters.

Rinse and Repeat

The Gunsmith will task you with doing the same as above, though this time it’s primary weapons with primary telemetry. You’ll have to dismantle rare and legendary weapons once again to get 10 weapon parts, and afterwards you’ll be rewarded with the following.

Tlaloc is a Warlock exclusive exotic Scout Rifle. The exotic perk, Overflow, increases handling, rate of fire, and stability while the user’s Super is charged.

Fabian Strategy is a Titan exclusive Auto Rifle. The exotic perk, Front Lines, increases handling, stability, and rate of fire when enemies are close. Kills will also partially reload the magazine, making for very easy killing.

Ace of Spades is a Hunter exclusive hand cannon. The exotic perk, Maverick, moves one round from your ammo reserves to the magazine when you land a precision kill.

King’s Fall 390 Light Challenge Guide

King’s Fall is this week’s Raid to be upgraded to the new Light level of 390 thanks to Age of Triumph. While other raids have seen a significant increase in difficulty due to both the enemy level increase and new challenges being added, King’s Fall is different. Thankfully King’s Fall has the same challenges as before the Light level increase, but here is a guide to each of the three challenges just in case you’ve forgotten how to do them.


This challenge is both easy and a great one for rewarding you with loot. Here the challenge is that no person must be the aura carrier twice. The easy way around this is to number yourselves and assign everyone to a side or the middle. As each you activate the plates on the floor you need to be aware of who has already had the Aura of Initiate and who hasn’t, in order to ensure that you don’t lose the challenge. As long as you number each other and keep alternating on the plates, you’ll be okay.


In order to complete the Golgoroth challenge you’ll need to ensure everyone holds his gaze once. Players shoot Golgoroth in the back to gain his gaze, each player needs to do this after holding the gaze for about 15 seconds. When the last Guardian has the gaze you need to let it expire so that everyone has held it for an equal amount of time. Stick to this tactic and you’ll ensure everyone holds the gaze and the challenge is completed.


Obviously Oryx is the big bad of the raid, so his challenge is going to be the hardest. This challenge requires sixteen orbs to be detonated at once, which will one-shot Oryx, so kill those Ogres straight away. There needs to be four plate holders, each jumping on the platform clockwise to where the relic appears. Jumpers should only land on their plate after the previous member is on.

One runner needs to run across the plates generated by the plate holders. They will work counter clockwise until they can steal the Aura of Invincibility from the Vessel of Oryx.

The last player needs to run around killing enemies and generally making life easier for the players completing the challenge, as this can get very tricky.

You need to collapse the process quickly once the runner has the Aura, as the orbs from the Ogres need to be as close to each other as possible, allowing for a stacking effect.

After a while Oryx will slam down a fist and reveal his chest, this is where your team needs to focus its fire in order to make him stagger. After this you need to kill enemies and make a clear path for the next run for an orb, and continue working away out of Oryx’s eye blasts.

After the fourth run players will need to detonate their bombs, this will send Oryx spinning into the orbit of Saturn. If this is done properly all players will need to rush to the end of the platform to damage Oryx’s chest again, which should kill him and leave the universe with one less threat.
