Xur’s Inventory Destiny 2 – February 15th To 18th

Head to Winding Cove on Earth in the EDZ because Xur has returned once again! The creepy old Exotics vendor has arrived during the most romantic week in the Destiny calendar, bringing with him riches for us to exploit in Crimson Doubles. Let’s dive into what he’s got and see if it’s any good then.

Exotic Hand Cannon: Sunshot – 29 Legendary Shards

We’ve already done our own in-depth look at whether or not Sunshot is the best Exotic Hand Cannon. If you’re seriously interested in it then you should give that a read before buying it. We’ll jump in and look at the stats and perks here all the same.

The stats on Sunshot are; Impact 80, Range 47-74, Stability 50-68, Magazine Size 8, Reload Speed 75, and Handling 92. The hidden stats are; Zoom 14, Inventory Size 53, Aim Assistance 60, and Recoil Direction 108.

The perks on Sunshot are subject to a little change, but the Exotic perk however, isn’t. Sunburn makes Sunshot fire explosive rounds and highlight targets that take damage from it. The only other perk you’ll probably see on Sunshot is Sun Blast, which makes targets killed with Sunshot explode with Solar energy.

Overall this is a pretty decent weapon, but definitely check out our in-depth article as I mentioned above.

Exotic Hunter Chest Armour: Lucky Raspberry – 23 Legendary Shards

This Hunter Chest Armour is base game but performs extremely well, boosting Mobility or Resilience greatly. The Exotic perk, Probability Matrix, increases the chaining capabilities of Arc Bolt Grenade. The Armour also grants a chance to refill your Grenade energy every time Arc Bolt deals damage. Every full chain always recharges the metre.

Exotic Titan Chest Armour: Actium War Rig – 23 Legendary Shards

Some more base game Armour here, which boosts Mobility, or greatly boosts Recovery or Resilience. The Exotic perk, Auto-Loading Link, steadily reloads a portion of your equipped Auto Rifle’s magazine from reserves.

Exotic Warlock Helmet: Skull of Dire Ahamkara – 23 Legendary Shards

A final piece of base game Exotic Armour, boosting either Resilience, or greatly boosting Recovery. The Exotic perk, Actual Grandeur, gives you additional resistance to damage during Nova Bomb. Any Nova Bomb kills will also grant Super energy.

This week, as with all weeks, you should be thinking about your collection. Buy the Exotics you don’t have, but buy them for your main class first. Sunshot is a phenomenal weapon and definitely worth considering if you have the Legendary Shards.
