Xur’s Inventory Destiny 2 – August 2nd To 6th 2019

Xur has re-entered the world of Destiny 2 and brought his usual bag of Exotic goodies with him. This week we see a familiar weapon, but is there anything to help with Solstice of Heroes? You can find Xur over in the Tower this week, hanging out, well in the Hanger. Head over there and look behind the Dead Orbit vendor to see him and his wares. Let’s dive in and take a loot at what he has.

Exotic Submachine Gun: The Huckeberry – 29 Legendary Shards

We’ve already done our own analysis of whether or not The Huckleberry is the best Submachine Gun or not. You should definitely read it before buying the weapon this week, but we’ll go ahead and cover it briefly here for you as well.

The Exotic perk on The Huckeberry, Ride The Bull, provides an increased rate of fire while you’re holding down the trigger. Any kills you make with The Huckeberry will reload a portion of the magazine. The other perks on this weapon are all subject to change, so don’t get too used to one roll of it if you’d prefer something different.

Exotic Titan Helmet: One-Eyed Mask – 23 Legendary Shards

Thankfully this is a Forsaken Exotic, boosting Resilience or Recovery, and up until recently it was incredibly overpowered. The Exotic perk, Vengeance, marks enemies who damage you. If you track down that enemy and kill them then you’ll receive health regeneration and an overshield.

Exotic Hunter Leg Armour: St0mp-E55 – 23 Legendary Shards

One of my personal favourites for Hunters, this Exotic boosts Mobility. The Exotic perk, Hydraulic Boosters, increases your sprint speed and slide distance. It also improves all the jumps you could ever equip on your Hunter, so watch out high ledges!

Exotic Warlock Gauntlets: Winter’s Guile – 23 Legendary Shards

These base game Gauntlets boost Recovery. The Exotic perk, Warlord’s Sigil, increases your melee damage when you make a kill with your melee attack. It’s a vicious cycle, but the only people it hurts are your enemies.

Our Take

This week you should pick up the Exotics you need for your collection. Get that Triumph before Moments of Triumph ends. Otherwise you may still need to pick up an Invitation of the Nine, which is always worth doing if you love lore. If you forced us, it would be St0mp-E55 that we’d advise you to grab, it’s definitely the best Exotic on the list in our eyes.
