Xur’s Inventory Destiny 2 – April 12th To April 16th

Xur is back and he’s, hopefully, got a load of consistent gear across all platforms. If you’re not sure what I’m talking about then check out our article on the issue with Xbox and PC Guardians getting Wavesplitter last week. Back to this week though, Xur can be found in the Tower Hanger, hanging around behind the Dead Orbit vendor, lovingly known as ’emo dude’. Let’s take a look at what he’s got.

Exotic Scout Rifle: The Jade Rabbit – 29 Legendary Shards

We’ve already done our own analysis of whether The Jade Rabbit is the best Exotic Scout Rifle in Destiny 2. You should definitely check that out before you buy it this week just to be certain you’re getting something you want. The stats on The Jade Rabbit are as follows.

  • Rounds per Minute – 150
  • Impact – 67
  • Range – 86
  • Stability – 55-82
  • Magazine Size – 10
  • Reload Speed – 59
  • Handling – 29

The hidden stats on The Jade Rabbit are as follows.

  • Zoom – 20
  • Inventory Size – 30
  • Aim Assistance – 80
  • Recoil Direction – 100

The Jade Rabbit is an iconic weapon in the Destiny universe, having been brought back in Destiny 2 from Destiny 1. The Exotic perk, The Fate of all Fools, boosts damage on your next precision shot when you chain body shots. That precision shot will also return ammo to the magazine.

Exotic Hunter Leg Armour: Lucky Pants – 23 Legendary Shards

Probably my favourite base game Hunter Leg Armour, they boost either Mobility or Resilience. The Exotic perk, Illegally Modded Holster, loads one round into the chamber of your stowed Hand Cannon with each precision hit. This perk also makes Hand Cannons ready faster and more accurate right after you’ve swapped to them.

Exotic Titan Leg Armour: Dunemarchers – 23 Legendary Shards

This base game Exotic boosts either Mobility or Resilience, and they look great while doing it. The Exotic perk, Linear Actuators, increases your sprint speed. It also allows you to build up a static charge while sprinting, which will discharge and chain through enemies after a melee attack.

Exotic Warlock Chest Armour: Starfire Protocol – 23 Legendary Shards

Yet more base game Exotic Armour, this one boosts Resilience and Recovery. The Exotic perk, Fusion Harness, gives Fusion Grenades an additional charge and recharge from empowered weapon damage. Rift energy will be granted from Fusion Grenade kills.

This week, unfortunately, there are no Forsaken Exotics. I’d still recommend getting some of the items you need for your collection, you never know when they’ll crop up again.

This week is another chance to advance the Invitation of the Nine questline. If you haven’t already completed week 1, week 2, week 3, or week 4, then check out our guides. We’ll have one up for week 5 soon.

Let us know which Exotics you pick up in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
