Xur’s Inventory Destiny 2 – November 2nd To 6th
Xur has graced us once again with his presence and brought his mighty Exotic collection out as well. He’s hanging out on Nessus near the Watcher’s Grave landing zone. Unfortunately he’s still not selling any Exotics from the Forsaken expansion, but if you’re after something to boost up your Power level this is really the dude to help you out. Let’s take a look at that inventory.
Exotic Pulse Rifle: Vigilance Wing – 29 Legendary Shards
This is a pretty good base game Exotic that’s got a few things going for it. It’s nothing special but it’ll do if you want to raise your Power level and have something fun to use in the process. We’ve actually done our own analysis, before Forsaken, of whether Vigilance Wing is the best Exotic Pulse Rifle which you should check out if you’re considering buying it.
The stats on Vigilance wing are; Impact 33, Range 64, Stability 64, Reload Speed 46, Handling 40, Magazine Size 30, and it fires 530 Rounds Per Minute. The hidden stats are; Zoom of 17, Inventory Size of 55, Aim Assistance of 60, Recoil Direction of 79.
The Exotic perk on Vigilance Wing, Harsh Truths, makes it fire a 5 round burst. Not only that, you gain increased movement speed and health regeneration when a nearby ally is killed. Quite handy if your teammates are terrible. The only other perk you’re likely to see on Vigilance Wing is Last Stand, which provides improved weapon performance and increased recovery when you’re the last one of your Fireteam left alive.
Exotic Hunter Leg Armour: Fr0st-EE5 – 23 Legendary Shards
This Leg Armour is part of the Warmind expansion, and greatly increases Mobility when worn. The Exotic perk, Rapid Cooldown, increases the regeneration rate of grenades, dodge, and melee while you’re sprinting. Any dodging you do will increase your sprint speed. Personally I run with these as much as I can on my Hunter, they’re amazing.
Exotic Warlock Chest Armour: Starfire Protocol – 23 Legendary Shards
This Warlock armour greatly increases Recovery, or increases Resilience at the standard rate. The Exotic perk, Fusion Harness, grants an additional Fusion Grenade charge, and recharge from empowered weapon damage. Any kills with a Fusion Grenade will grant you Rift energy.
Exotic Titan Chest Armour: Armamentarium – 23 Legendary Shards
Easily the worst name for any Exotic item, this Chest Armour increases Recovery, and greatly increases Resilience. The Exotic perk, And Another Thing, gives you an additional Grenade charge. That’s it.
As always, you need to keep an eye out for what’s required in your Triumph list so you can get it completed. Buy whatever Exotics you don’t already have, even if you don’t want to use them, or main another Class. It’ll be something you’re thankful for later down the line.
Other than that, I would highly recommend the Hunter Exotic this week. The perk on it is fantastic and something you’ll never realise you could live without once you’ve got it. Let us know what you end up getting in the comments.
