Xur’s Inventory Destiny 2 – March 15th To 19th

Xur has returned to the system and brought with him all kinds of great Exotics. He’s hanging around on Titan in The Rig’s landing zone, he’s inside a little shack making sure his really dirty clothes don’t get too wet. Let’s dive in and check out what he’s got.

Xur has returned to the system and brought with him all kinds of great Exotics. He’s hanging around on Titan in The Rig’s landing zone, he’s inside a little shack making sure his really dirty clothes don’t get too wet. Let’s dive in and check out what he’s got.

Exotic Hand Cannon: Crimson – 29 Legendary Shards

Crimson is a really great Exotic Hand Cannon, and we’ve already done our own in-depth analysis that you should probably check out if you’re thinking of getting it. The stats on Crimson are as follows.

  • Impact – 92
  • Range – 75-93
  • Stability – 97
  • Magazine Size – 14
  • Reload Speed – 64
  • Handling – 42

The hidden stats on Crimson are as follows.

  • Zoom – 14
  • Inventory Size – 100
  • Aim Assistance – 75
  • Recoil Direction – 55

The Exotic perk on Crimson, Banned Weapon, make it fire a three round bust. The only other perk you’ll definitely see on it, Cruel Remedy, is the best on though because it heals the wielder with every kill. Precision kills will fill the magazine in addition.

Exotic Hunter Leg Armour: Orpheus Rig – 23 Legendary Shards

This Leg Armour is a base game original but it’s a good one, boosting Mobility greatly. The Exotic perk, Uncanny Arrows, gives you ability energy for each enemy you tether with Dreadfall anchors. The perk also provides more shots for Moebius Quiver.

Exotic Titan Gauntlets: Wormgod Caress – 23 Legendary Shards

These Gauntlets were added with the Warmind expansion, one of my favourites, and boost either Resilience or Recovery. The Exotic perk, Burning Fists, increases melee damage for a period of time after melee kills. Any additional kills will extend the length of time the effect is available for.

Exotic Warlock Chest Armour: Chromatic Fire – 23 Legendary Shards

This is the only item that Xur’s brought this week that’s from the Forsaken expansion, boosting either Resilience or Recovery. The Exotic perk, Crystalline Transistor, creates an explosion in the element of your equipped Subclass when you make a precision kill with your Kinetic weapon.

Of all of the items this week I would say you need to pick up the Forsaken Exotic. It’s not often that you get a chance to pick these up for Legendary Shards, so if you’ve got them lying around that’s where you should put them. Otherwise you should pick up the Exotics you don’t have for your collection. I can confirm that using Crimson makes you feel like a god, and it might be your best option if you’re struggling in Gambit Prime.

Let us know what you pick up in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
