Xur’s Inventory Destiny 2 – January 10th To 14th 2020

Xur is back in Destiny 2 for the second time in 2020! This week he’s brought an Exotic weapon we’re all pretty familiar with, but he’s aslo got som eother Exotics for us to look at. To find him you need to head to Titan this week, on the Rig. This creepy dude is hiding out in a container where you should be able to see all the other Guardians gathered around glaring at his goods. Let’s dive into what he’s got.

Exotic Sword: Black Talon – 29 Legendary Shards

We’ve already done our own review of Black Talon which you should definitely check out before you purchase the Sword this week. For now we’ll just cover the stats and perks here for you.

• Range – 46
• Efficiency – 73

Hidden Stats

• Magazine – 50
• Zoom – 0

Perks

• Intrinsic perk: Crow’s Wings – Press heavy attack to fire off a projectile cross combo
• Heavy Guard – Sword guard has high efficiency and defence
• Tireless Blade – Gain Sword ammo for every other powered Sword kill

Exotic Hunter Leg Armour: Lucky Pants – 23 Legendary Shards

This Exotic is from the base game of Destiny 2, and they’re awesome. The Intrinsic perk, Illegally Modelled Holster, makes precision hits load one round into the chamber of stowed Hand Cannons. This also makes Hand Cannons ready faster and are more accurate immediately after swapping to them.

Exotic titan Helmet: Eternal Warrior – 23 Legendary Shards

This is a Warmind expansion Exotic, and it’s great if you fancy looking like a Destiny 2 version of an Easter Island head. The Intrinsic perk, Resolute, grants an overshield when activating Fists of Havoc.

Exotic Warlock Leg Armour: Transversive Steps – 23 Legendary Shards

This Leg Armour is okay, but it’s not the best. The Intrinsic perk, Strange Protractor, increases your sprint speed. After sprinting for a short time, the currently equipped weapon will automatically reload.

Our Take

This week isn’t fantastic for everyone, but it is a great week for Hunters. Black Talon is an excellent Sword, and anyone would be lucky to have it. The Hunter Leg Armour is also phenomenal, and it’ll definitely help you out in the system when you come up against those situations in which you need a bullet chucking into the chamber for every precision hit you make.
