Xur’s Inventory Destiny 2 – June 15th To 18th

xur

Xur has returned to to us and he’s brought some fun Exotics with him this week. If you want to know where to look instead of souring every map in the destination tab then he’s in the EDZ, you’ll see the icon clear as day. Let’s check out what his wares are so you can decide if there are any you need to have in your collection.

Exotic Shotgun: Tractor Cannon – 29 Legendary Shards

Tractor Cannon is a particularly fun Exotic but it’s been around since launch, making it pretty old at this point. The stats on this weapon are; 84 Rounds Per Minute, Impact 65, Range 19, Stability 82, Magazine 4, Reload Speed 24, and Handling 46. The hidden stats are; Zoom 12, Aim Assistance 90, and Recoil Direction 60.

If you’re looking at the stats and thinking that this really isn’t a fantastic weapon on paper, you’d be right. There are rare weapons with better stats than this, and if I’m honest I think the fun factor really is in the perks. However, if you’ve not collected this one yet, it’s probably worth picking up.

The Exotic perk, Repulsor Force, makes this weapon emit a powerful force that not only pushes enemies away, it also suppresses their abilities, and makes them more vulnerable to Void damage. That’s a pretty awesome perk, and if you’re running with a Void Subclass then you can really ruin some enemies and Guardians if you want to.

The rest of the perks are; Extended Barrel, which increases Range and decreases Handling Speed, Particle Repeater, which increases Stability, The Scientific Method, which increases Speed and Handling on the weapon temporarily after damaging an enemy, and Composite Stock, which slightly increases Stability and Handling Speed.

Exotic Hunter Gauntlets: Sealed Ahamkara Grasps – 23 Legendary Shards

If you’re looking for a Warmind Expansion Exotic this week then you’re in luck with these. The Sealed Ahamkara Grasps increase Resilience and Mobility, and the Exotic Perk, Nightmare Fuel, reloads the currently equipped weapon when you deal melee damage.

I would recommend these as a collector but also if you want a practical Exotic that has a use you can really feel the benefit of.

Exotic Titan Chest Armour: Actium War Rig – 23 Legendary Shards

This chest armour isn’t anything special, but there is the option to increase Resilience, Mobility, or Recovery with it. The Exotic Perk, Auto-loading Link, will steadily reload your equipped Auto Rifle over time.

Now this is an Exotic that you can feel the practical benefits of as you play, and for me they’re the best so I would advise getting it if you can and need something.

Exotic Warlock Helmet: The Stag – 23 Legendary Shards

A favourite from Destiny 1, The Stag is a thing of beauty when worn and shows enemy Guardians you’re a force t be reckoned with. The Helmet greatly increases Recovery, and the Exotic perk, Dearly Departed, grants Rift energy when you’re critically wounded. Your corpse generates a brief healing Rift when you die to help your friends.

Out of everything this week I’m going to say that the Tractor Cannon is my favourite. It’s fun and different, and isn’t something I have so I need it for my collection at least. I also main a Hunter and the practicality of the Sealed Ahamkara Grasps is something I can’t go on without, just for instances when it would come in useful.

Let us know what you pick up in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
