Xur’s Inventory Destiny 2 – January 25th To 29th

Xur has returned to Destiny 2 once again, and I’m happy to say that he’s carrying some rather more interesting items than he was last week. To find him you need to head to Titan, the place where he is most elusive and hardest to find in my opinion. He’s on The Rig in a room close to the spawn point. This is really difficult to find, so you might just want to take a look where Guardians are running to or gathering, that should give you a good idea of where he is. Let’s dive in and see those items then.

Exotic Hand Cannon: Crimson – 29 Legendary Shards

We’ve already done an overview of wether or not Crimson is the best Exotic Hand Cannon in Destiny 2 or not. You should definitely check out that in-depth overview if you’re considering buying it. For now here are the basic details of Crimson.

The stats on Crimson are; Impact 92, Range 60, Stability 82, Magazine Size 14, Reload Speed 64, and Handling 50. The hidden stats are; Zoom 14, Inventory Size 100, Aim Assistance 75, and Recoil Direction 55.

The Exotic perk on Crimson, Banned Weapon, makes it fire a 3-round burst. However, the real benefit of using Crimson is from the perk Cruel Remedy, which heals the wielder with each kill. Precision kills will also refill Crimson’s magazine. With random rolls it’s not certain what other perks you’ll get on this weapon.

Exotic Titan Gauntlets: Ashen Wake – 23 Legendary Shards

These Gauntlets were added with Warmind and look badass. They greatly increase Resilience, and the Exotic perk, Bring The Heat, makes Fusion Grenades explode on impact, and they gain some increased throwing speed.

Exotic Hunter Leg Armour: Fr0st-EE5 – 23 Legendary Shards

This Exotic Hunter Leg Armour is fabulous, looks phenomenal and was added with Warmind. They greatly boost Mobility, a real boon in my opinion, and the Exotic perk, Rapid Cooldown, increases Grenade, Melee and Dodge energy regeneration while you’re sprinting. This is super handy, and I really do mean that as a Guardian who has rocked these for a good few weeks. As an added bonus when you dodge you’ll increase your sprint speed as well.

Exotic Warlock Leg Armour: Transversive Steps – 23 Legendary Shards

Even though these are a base game Exotic, the look bloody brilliant. They increase Mobility and Recovery, and the Exotic perk, Strange Protractor, increases sprint speed. It will also automatically reload the weapon you have currently equipped after you’ve been sprinting for a short while.

If you need an excuse to buy a new Exotic weapon, Crimson is it. That Hand Cannon is fantastic for Crucible, and it’s pretty helpful in any PVE events as well. As for Exotic Armours any of these are great, if you can buy them all then do. Xur has had some pretty boring stuff for the last few weeks so building up your collection while you’ve got the chance is well worth doing.
