Bungie Should Give Destiny 1’s Flawless Raider Trophy To Everyone On PlayStation

It’s been long enough, give us the trophy Bungie.

Bungie Should Give Destiny 1's Flawless Raider Trophy To Everyone On PlayStation

There’s something that I’ve been holding onto ever since Destiny 1 first launched in September 2014. The game landed with a big old crash. I enjoyed the repeatable content, but many weren’t expecting it. All in all, it was a pretty terrible launch. Over time though, the game sparked one of the biggest franchises to date in games. However, the first game is marred by a trophy that a measly 2% of Guardians have earned in the six years since it launched. I am of course talking about the Flawless Raider trophy.

What Is The Flawless Raider Trophy?

For those who don’t know, the PlayStation ecosystem has a feature called trophies. These are like achievements. If you get 100% of the trophies for a game, you’ll earn the platinum, which are highly sought-after digital bling. There’s a small group of PlayStation fans who are working to get as many across the PS3, PS4, PS5, and PS Vita as they can for nothing but digital glory.

Destiny 1 had trophies, and for the most part, they were fair. However, Flawless Raider was not. This trophy requires you to complete a raid with a fireteam, and have no Guardian die at all. You should all know how impossible this task is.

to put the 2% figure into perspective, Destiny 2 currently has 21 million Guardians on PlayStation platforms alone. Even if there were just 1 million of us playing Destiny 1, it’s been six years of staring at this trophy and never earning it.

As a Guardian who poured about 200 hours into the game while it was popular, I see this trophy as a mark against my soul.

Why We Should All Have The Flawless Raider Trophy

It’s been six years, and Bungie has released a brand new game in the Destiny franchise. I think that it’s now time that they turned the servers off for Destiny 1 and gave us the trophies for free.

Guardians have put hundreds of hours into the game, which is definitely worth all of those trophies. Many of us have completed ridiculous tasks that didn’t even earn trophies too. For all of this, we need to be given the Flawless Raider trophy at the very least, if not all of them.

Let us know if you’re a PlayStation Guardian in the comments, and if you agree with this need for the Flawless Raider trophy to be given out freely.

For an extra bit of rage, here’s the Destiny 1 trophy list.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.

I don’t think that anyone should be given a trophy for something they didn’t do. I’m fairly certain the idea of it being a trophy is that it is supposed to be difficult. There is a wide range of content in destiny and not all of it is made for casual players. There is a reason people are so selective in their raid teams.

Surprised the other comments have been allowed through moderation. The writer of this should just get a clan team together & get it done, if it means that much to him. So sorry you did not get it done & that goes for everyone else.
