Xur Inventory Destiny 2 – February 16th to 19th

xur

Xur is back once again and he’s got some sweet Exotics for us to spend all our Legendary Shards on. Let’s have a look at what he’s brought this week.

Exotic Fusion Rifle: Merciless – 29 Legendary Shards

Merciless looks brilliant, and is ranked #49 on PVP weapons, perfect if you’re picking something up late for a bit of Crimson Days Crucible action.

The weapon has a charge time of 900, Impact of 75, Range of 45, Stability of 39, a Magazine of 8, Reload Speed of 49, and Handling of 47. The hidden stats are a Zoom of 15, Inventory Size of 36, and Recoil Direction of 64. While these stats are nothing to write home about the weapon does at least have a low charge time which is imperative for last minute kills in the Crucible, the place I’m going to say this weapon will prove most useful.

The Exotic Perk, Conserve Momentum, make the weapon charge faster if you get hits on enemies but no kills until a kill is achieved. This could be good for holding out until the opportunity for a team kill presents itself in PVP.

Chambered Compensator increases Stability, moderately controls Recoil, and slightly decreases Handling Speed. Extended Mag greatly increases Magazine Size while decreasing reload speed. Impetus increases the weapon’s damage for a short time if you reload immediately after a kill. Finally Fitted Stock moderately controls Recoil and slightly decreases Handling Speed.

Overall the stats are improved by the Perks on this weapon, but it simply makes for a faster Fusion Rifle to kill enemies with. If speed is your thing then this weapon is probably for you, but just watch out for the Handling Speed which is basically abysmal.

Exotic Hunter Leg Armour: Lucky Pants – 23 Legendary Shards

Lucky Pants don’t look like much, but they increase Resilience and Mobility. The Exotic Perk, Illegally Modded Holster, loads one round into stowed Hand Cannons when you make a precision hit. This is one of the better pieces of Leg Armour for Hunters out there, so if you don’t have them I’d say pick them up.

Exotic Titan Gauntlets: ACD/0 Feedback Fence – 23 Legendary Shards

These Gauntlets look incredible, like you’ve got robot armour all over your arms, and they greatly increase Resilience. The Exotic Perk, Fury Conductors, builds up an explosive charge with each melee kill. Then when you’re hit with a melee attack the explosive energy bursts out, almost certainly murdering whoever was ballsy enough to punch you.

Exotic Warlock Chest Armour: Starfire Protocol – 23 Legendary Shards

This Chest Armour looks more like a really cool cloak mysterious people wear, and that’s a good enough reason to buy it alone but it also greatly increases Recovery, and increased Resilience. The Exotic Perk, Fusion Harness, grants an additional charge to Fusion Grenades, which regenerate faster and grant Rift energy with kills.

Overall this week I’d say get that Fusion Rifle and get back into Crimson Days for some final loot earning. Otherwise keep your collection in mind and buy what you don’t have, but try to get what will benefit you moving forward such as the perfect armour for your main character. Let us know what you buy in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
