How To Make The Most Of Crimson Days

Crimson Days is fast approaching and it won’t be live for long, so you need a plan to make the most of it while it’s live. Why, do you ask? Because of the sweet, sweet Crimson Days loot that’s only going to be available for a limited time this year, and who knows if it’ll return next year for us to earn again? In Destiny 1 the Crimson days loot was some of the rarest and coveted loot, and I dare say that it’s going to be the same case with Destiny 2. So how do you make the most of this very limited event?

1) Make a plan

While it’s possible that you can just jump into the Crimson Days playlist and get matched up with some randoms, it’s a Valentine’s Day event. I recommend planning with your respective partner now about when you’re going to spend an evening, or multiple evenings, playing enough of the Crimson Days playlist to earn you both some great loot. If you’re both free at certain times or already have a regular Destiny 2 slot then use that, leaving you with the rest of the time the event is live to play it by yourself and see if you can earn every item.

2) Decide what loot is important to you

There’s a plethora of Crimson Days loot available to earn, but will you have time to get it all? Unless you’re in school or have the week off of work then the answer is probably not. Take a look at the items you can earn and make a choice now about how important they are o you. That way if you end up grinding for a few hours and have all the things you want then you don’t need to worry if you don’t have time to play again during the event.

3) Level up your Guardians

You’ll need to be max level in order to compete in the event, so get going with those levels. Just do anything that earns experience until you’re there and you won’t need to watch on as the rest of us go around with Crimson Days gear while you’re stuck with nothing love-related.

That’s it for our tips, let us know you’re preparation thoughts in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
