Is Prince Uldren The Cosmodrome Vendor?
Get ready to meet Prince Uldren, without his memory that is.
With Destiny 2 Beyond Light we’re gong to be getting a new social space in the Cosmodrome. The thing is, that means there’s a lot of new content that we’ll be uncovering, and Bungie will be keeping secret.
One of those secrets is who the vendor for this new social space is going to be. On the Moon we got a hybrid social space with the Moon and Eris Morn’s little camp. With the Cosmodrome it looks like it could be Prince Uldren of all people.
What we know of Prince Uldren is that he’s out in the City, living life without any memory of who he is. He knows that everyone hates him, because they’re very vocal about it, but he doesn’t know why. This lore actually dives quite deep into how he’s been living.
However, one Guardian on Reddit, blamite, thinks they may have uncovered evidence that he’s going to be the Cosmodrome’s vendor.
This image was revealed in a This Week At Bungie article. The Triumph symbols resemble the actions, areas, or vendors that they’re related to. This one, highlighted above, resembles Uldren’s armour.
What does this mean? Well it could mean that Uldren is now helping out the Guardians as they fight against this new Fallen enemy in Europa. It would be a nice twist, since he was the one who set a mutated Fallen house loose previously.
There’s also this video, from before Destiny 1 even launched, to consider.
Prince Uldren would definitely be living on the edge of society. He’s hated, so there’s no way he’d set up shop anywhere that lots of people will find him.
I know that this footage is probably defunct, but think about it. We could be sent out to find someone willing to go to the Cosmodrome, a dangerous place in the Destiny universe, and act as a go-between for Guardians. Who better than this exiled, newly reborn, Guardian with nothing to lose?
Thematically, I think that Uldren fits very well as the Cosmodrome’s vendor. What do you think though? Is this too much of a stretch? Or are all the details lining up to bring us fact to face once again with Cayde-6’s killer?
Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Also perhaps consider that there has been a good bit of foreshadowing, or nudging if the f word is too serious, that Uldren is to also take up the next Hunter Vanguard mantle? Killing Cayade and all to inherit the debt (and Uldren is a hunter…)
