Destiny News Hub on The Destiny Show Podcast

The Destiny Show Podcast is a weekly Destiny podcast that features a brand new guest every week. For episode 27 I was lucky enough to be invited onto the show to talk about all tings Destiny 2, the most recent This Week At Bungie article, and Shadowkeep, and I had a blast.

You can listen to The Destiny Show Podcast on most, if not all, podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify. They also have an Anchor page where you can view all the podcast episodes, as well as the various platforms they’re available on. I suggest going for your usual podcast app to avoid downloading a lot of unnecessary content to your devices.

During the episode the hosts, Cornholio and Shadow Price, and I talked about the most recent Destiny 2 news, and the biggest news of 2019 for the game so far. Of course we also talked about Destiny News Hub, and my time writing for the website, highlighting some of my favourite articles such as my recent interview with Destiny 2’s Senior Citizen Mother.

When we spoke about the game’s upcoming expansion, Shadowkeep, we all had thoughts and theories to talk about. On the day the Return to the Moon ViDoc had just been released, so we dove in and dissected a few details from what we’d seen. We all love Destiny 2 to pieces, and the Moon is a favourite destination of ours because it was in Destiny 1, and played a major role there.

I think the point that we all came to life during the podcast was when we looked back and spoke about Destiny 1. We’ve all got fond memories of the raids, the weapons, and even the bosses. With the Moon returning in Shadowkeep these are all potentially relevant again, particularly since it seems as though the Destiny 1 bosses we remember so well are going to return in some form with this expansion.

I had the best time chatting with the guys on the podcast, and they welcomed me back in the future. I’ll definitely be returning to chat to the guys when Destiny 2 launches for Google Stadia, and I’d love to do an entire episode talking about how cool Icebreaker is if they’ll allow it.
