Destiny 2 Beyond Light Exotic Weapons Captured Before Servers Went Offline

Last night, as the servers were being turned off one by one for Destiny 2 in preparation for Beyond Light, something wonderful happened. A few Guardians were able to stick around after the end of season event. They couldn’t do much, but they were able to look at a few of the new weapons coming in the expansion. We’ve got those images here thanks to a Guardian by the name of YHunterTheGreat.

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Exotic Shotgun Duality

This is Duality, the weapon that is pretty intertwined with Crow. Otherwise known as Prince Uldren. You might be able to read what the Intrinsic Perk is in the image, but I’ll write it out here so you can see the true nature of what the duality of the weapon is. Unfortunately, it’s not a double-element.

Compression Chamber – Fires a pellet spread in hip-fire or a single high-damage slug while aiming.

This is going to be an extremely powerful ally in the Crucible.

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Legendary Pulse Rifle Stars In Shadow

Stars in Shadow looks like a viable Pulse Rifle. Maybe it’s even better than Lincoln Green. That trait, named Thresh, grants you a small amount of Super energy with every kill you make. If that’s not a PvE weapon, I don’t know what is.

Now this is another PvE weapon if I’ve ever come across one. The trait, Redirection, builds up the damage you deal against more powerful enemies when you kill rank-and-file combatants. It’s built for boss encounters with loads of mobs. Get ready with this if you want to dive into the new raid.

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Exotic Grenade Launcher Salvation’s Grip

Do you love Tractor Cannon? Of course you do, who doesn’t? Well this looks like a new variation of that weapon. The Intrinsic Perk, Cryocannon, can be charged just like our Portal-esque friend. However, this weapon’s projectiles produce Stasis crystals which will freeze nearby targets. It’s literally the Ice Cannon that Mr. Freeze uses in Batman and Robin (the incredible movie starring George Clooney).

We’ve already seen quite a lot of this chainsaw, but it’s still cool that a Guardian has already had their hands on it. The Intrinsic perk, Banshee’s Wail, allows you to rev the blade. This will increase the damage it deals, bypass shields, and add Stasis shield piercing to every attack. You gain stacks of this when dealing damage with revved attacks, which will further increase your damage, and your damage resistance from heavy attacks. WOW!
