After being references in an episode of American Dad recently Xur has become a bit of a pop culture star. If you want to meet this newly crowned celebrity then you can do so this week by heading to the EDZ, Winding Cover specifically. He’s hanging around near that Fallen wreck he seems to love. Let’s dive in and take a look at what he’s brought to the world this week.

Exotic Auto Rifle: Sweet Business – 29 Legendary Shards

We’ve already done our own analysis of whether Sweet Business is the best Exotic Auto Rifle in Destiny 2. Be sure to read it before you buy the weapon this week. We’ll still go through the stats and Exotic perk here to help you out though. The stats on Sweet Business are as follows.

  • Rounds Per Minute – 360
  • Impact – 18
  • Range- 42
  • Stability – 60
  • Magazine Size – 45
  • Reload Speed – 10
  • Handling – 14

The hidden stats on Sweet Business are as follows.

  • Zoom – 16
  • Inventory Size – 80
  • Aim Assistance – 80
  • Recoil Direction – 100

The Exotic perk on Sweet Business, Payday, gives it a larger magazine and increased Accuracy when firing from the hip. The only other perk you’re likely to see on Sweet Business is Business Time, which boosts Range and Rate of Fire by holding down the trigger. This perk also automatically loads ammo pickups into the magazine, which is incredibly handy I must say from experience.

Exotic Warlock Chest Armour: Chromatic Fire – 23 Legendary Shards

This armour is from the Forsaken expansion, so a must buy I have to say, boosting Resilience or Recovery. The Exotic perk, Crystalline Transistor, creates an explosion in the element of your Subclass with each precision kill you make with a Kinetic weapon.

Exotic Titan Helmet: One-Eyed Mask – 23 Legendary Shards

This is another Forsaken Exotic, boosting Resilience or Recovery. The Helmet is actually getting a bit of a nerf in Season of Opulence which you can read about here if you’re interested. The Exotic perk, Vengeance, marks enemies that damage you, and gives you increased damage and overshield when you track them down and kill them.

Exotic Hunter Chest Armour: Raiden Flux – 23 Legendary Shards

This final piece of armour isn’t from Forsaken, and boosts Mobility or Resilience. The Exotic perk, Synapse Junctions, increases the damage output and duration of Arc Staff with quick successive attacks.

This week I’d say go for the Forsaken Exotics, because you just never know when they’ll turn up again. Keep an eye on your collections and always buy what you don’t have, it’s just easier that way. Otherwise this week may be a bust for you because the Titan Helmet is the only really special Exotic on offer.

Let us know what you pick up in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
