Xur’s Inventory Destiny 2 – March 13th To 17th 2020

He’s back! Xur is back for Season of the Worthy. Not only that, it’s the first time that he’s appeared in Destiny since Trials of Osiris was officially back in the game. This really is a special week, and he’s actually got a very special weapon for once. He’s hanging out at the back of the Tower, which is actually pretty close to Saint-14 for all of you Trials Guardians. Let’s dive in and check it all out right now.

Exotic Trace Rifle: Coldheart – 29 Legendary shards

We’ve already done our own in-depth analysis of whether Coldheart is the best Exotic Trace Rifle or not. You should check that out before you buy it, but we’ll cover all the stats and perks here just in case.

Stats

  • Rounds per Minute – 1000
  • Impact – 6
  • Range – 73
  • Stability – 73-91
  • Magazine – 101
  • Reload Speed – 37-55
  • Handling – 32

Hidden Stats

  • Zoom – 16
  • Inventory Size – 60
  • Aim Assistance – 100
  • Recoil Direction – 100

Perks

  • Intrinsic Perk: Cold Fusion – Coldheart fires a cold fusion beam that freezes anything it hits.
  • Longest Winter – The beam creates a field that causes damage over time. The longer the beam is hitting an enemy, the stronger that damage becomes.

Exotic Hunter Leg Armour: Lucky Pants – 23 Legendary Shards

These are a really great Hunter Exotic, and particularly useful for Trials of Osiris. The Intrinsic Perk, Illegally Modded Holster, loads a round into the chamber of stowed Hand Cannons when you make a precision hit. Do not underestimate how useful just one more round can be.

Exotic Titan Gauntlets: Ashen Wake – 23 Legendary Shards

This is another base game Exotic, but it’s no less useful in Trials. The Intrinsic Perk, Bring The Heat, boosts Fusion Grenades so that they explode on impact, and gain an increase to throw speed. Any final blows with a Fusion Grenade grants additional grenade energy.

Exotic Warlock Chest Armour: Chromatic Fire – 23 Legendary Shards

A great Exotic to round off the week, once again it’s perfect for Trials of Osiris. the Intrinsic Perk, Crystalline Transistor, makes it so that your precision kills create an elemental damage blast. The element will be of your currently equipped subclass, so pay attention and you might nab a double kill if you’re lucky.

Our Take

As I’ve mentioned in every entry, the items this week are all perfect for Trials of Osiris. Each one can be excellent in PVP if you’re good at something in particular. I’d say that anyone great a precision hits is going to have a great time with two of the Armours, plus Coldheart. If you’re stuck, grab what you need for your collection and work out from there.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
