Don’t Forget About Iron Banner This Week In Destiny 2

Iron Banner is back as of today’s weekly reset. Right now you have seven entire days to play through as many matches as possible and earn as much progression for the season as possible. This is the perfect opportunity to complete some more bounties, quests, and generally earn quite a lot of progress towards that lofty rank 100 reward in Season of the Chosen.

Iron Banner doesn’t come along that often, which is why you need to make the most of it while it’s here. The best thing to do is head to Lord Shaxx and pick up as many bounties as he’ll give you. I always get ten so that I’ve got a good load to work through. Then, head up to see Lord Saladin. He’s also got some bounties for you to complete, but there is the added bonus of a quest for Iron Banner during Season of the Chosen.

Obviously, the real reason you’d grind out this quest is for the reward, but I’m just thinking of all the XP you can earn this week. I’ve been surprised by how much progress you can earn in the Season Pass just by picking up and completing bounties. Activities do award a little, but it’s these massive XP dumps that make the real dents in those levels.

Even if you’re still around the twenties in the Season Pass, you’ve got enough time to get to rank 100 if you put the effort in. Bounties and quests award so much XP that it seems a little unfair. When you combine this with seasonal challenge completions, it’s almost too much. You could see yourself rise up by ten ranks in a single session if you play things right.

Follow this advice and make the most of this week. Don’t let it pass you by. It’s also always worth checking in on the seasonal challenges to see if you can complete any. You’d be surprised by how many you can advance by using a certain type of weapon in the Crucible.
