Destiny 2 Corridors Of Time Closes Next Reset

Calling all Guardians! The Corridors of Time will completely close as of the next weekly reset on the 28th of January 2020. The area has been an incredible micro-event that the Destiny 2 community has really rallied around, but now it’s time to say goodbye to it and everything within it.

Calling all Guardians! The Corridors of Time will completely close as of the next weekly reset on the 28th of January 2020. The area has been an incredible micro-event that the Destiny 2 community has really rallied around, but now it’s time to say goodbye to it and everything within it.

One very important factor to the Corridors of Time closing is the fact that it will not lock Bastion away from those who have yet to try to earn it in Season of Dawn. Instead you can just pick the quest up from Saint-14, who it seems like is sticking around for longer than the rest of the current season. If you want a Bastion Quest Guide then use ours.

What Is Going?

There are a couple of things that will be gone when the Corridors of Time fully closes its doors for good. The first is the area itself. This mad maze of rooms and portals has been incredible, and brought the Destiny 2 community together for a little under a week as they all tried to piece together the route that would lead them to the end.

The main thing that will disappear with Corridors of Time is the quest. Use our Corridors of Time Quest guide to complete it quickly and earn the final reward now if you’re bothered by that. Like I said earlier, the main reward from completing it, the Bastion Quest, is now available outside of the area anyway.

The next thing that will be completely gone once the Corridors of Time close is the unique Emblem that you can earn from it. This, in my opinion, is the easiest reward to earn. I managed to pick it up as soon as it was discovered, when everyone was still trying to solve the ending of the quest together. Use our Saviour of the Past Emblem guide if you want to grab it before it’s gone. I cannot emphasise enough just how easy it is to get this Emblem, it’ll take you about 20 minutes in total.

Finally, you will not be able to earn all of the lore book entries for the Pigeon and Phoenix lore book once the Corridors of Time are closed. Use our Pigeon and Phoenix lore book entry codes guide to make sure you grab all 19 entires before they’re gone. This will take you a bit longer to get through compared to earning the exclusive Emblem, but they’re worth it in my opinion because they’re time-limited lore.

Do It For Yourself

Ultimately all of this content is limited to the Season of Dawn, and it’s limited even within that. If you’ve lapsed, I would say that it’s worth getting all of this just so you can look back on it when you’re really into Destiny 2 again. For those who still play Destiny 2 on a daily basis, there’s no excuse to avoid grabbing this stuff. Do it for yourself, and just get them in one afternoon or evening, it’s not like you have all the time in the world anymore.

Let us know if you manage to grab everything before it goes in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
