What Are The Crimson Days Secret Triumphs And How Do You Complete Them?

crimson-days-2019-hidden-triumphs-and-how-to-complete-them

Anyone who loaded up Destiny 2 last night will have found that Crimson Days is live once again. This event is only available for a week, so if you want to earn everything possible you best get on with it. We’ve already made a handy guide for how you can make the most of Crimson Doubles.

In addition to the event going live, Guardians have also noticed that among the Triumphs listed for Crimson Days are three hidden ones. Considering that you can earn Sugary Shell from completing all these Triumphs, knowing what these are is pretty damn important. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with what these three Triumphs are, and how to complete them. Let’s dive in.

Hidden Triumph 1

This Triumph requires you to avenge your teammate in Crimson Doubles with vigilance Wing. If you’re not sure what that is, it’s an Exotic Scout Rifle, which we’ve made a handy guide to. Vigilance Wing has a pretty great Exotic perk that allows you to fire a burst of 5 shots instead of three, and it heals you when allies nearby die. This is a weapon built for PVP, and it’s going to be especially useful in Crimson Doubles with that healing buff anyway.

All you need to do to complete this Triumph is kill the Guardian who kills your partner in a Crimson Doubles match with Vigilance Wing. If you keep going into matches with Vigilance Wing equipped this will eventually happen. Just remember that respawning your ally is tantamount to winning in Crimson Doubles, so don’t ignore their Ghost. It might even give you the chance to lure out the swine who killed your partner in the first place.

Hidden Triumph 2

This Triumph tasks you with avenging a teammate in Crimson Doubles With Crimson. Not sure about Crimson? Read up on it with our in-depth article and then you’ll feel safer. As a Hand Cannon Crimson is pretty great, and it’s got the perfect name for the event.

Again this Triumph simply needs you to kill the Guardian who killed your partner, but with Crimson this time around. A Hand Cannon is going to make this Triumph a bit harder to achieve. The best tactic might be to wait a few seconds for the enemy to move away, revive your ally, and then go on the hunt.

Crimson is deadly because it heals you with every kill, refills the magazine with every precision shot, and fires a three-round burst. Put simply this is a monster that has been wrangled into the shape of a Hand Cannon, let it loose in the face of your enemy and watch the kills roll in.

Hidden Triumph 3

This Triumph requires you to wipe the enemy team in Crimson Doubles using Two-Tailed Fox. The weapon is crazy, in that it shoots two rockets simultaneously and they will seek out the same target. There isn’t really anything else out there like it, but if you don’t have it already you’re going to have a tough time completing this Triumph, because Bungie have made it harder to receive from loot drops.

Essentially what you need to do for this Triumph is be better than your teammate, or have them drop dead at the beginning of the match. You’ve got to be the one to kill the entire enemy team, luckily it’s only made up of two Guardians though. To do this you need to be quick, locate the enemies and wait for the Power Ammo to drop, because you’re doing nothing without it.

Out of all three of these hidden Triumphs I’d say that this is the hardest to achieve. You can’t run around with two Exotic weapons though, so it’s best to get the first two hidden Triumphs out of the way before attempting this one. This is a bit of a bonus Triumph that you can try your hardest to complete, after you’ve worked your way through everything else. Good luck!

Those are the three hidden Triumphs for this year’s Crimson Days event. Make sure you have fun while completing them or this will drive you crazy. Let us know how you get on in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.

Do you know how many kills you need for each weapon to unlock the triumphs

No but you should be able to see the percentages go up between matches and work it out from there.
