Pick up the best ship of the season.

Guardians-Think-They've-Found-Destiny-2-Season-of-the-Splicer's-Epilogue-Reward

If you log into Destiny 2 today, you’ll be in with a chance of getting yourself a brand new Exotic ship. This is the hidden Exotic that has been missing for a while. A short time ago, Guardians thought they’d figured out where it was going to come into the game, and I think they were mostly right. This is the Exotic, the final Exotic for Season of the Splicer, that Guardians can claim as a sort of “well done” for playing every week and getting through all the content this season. Well done Guardians!

How to get the Forbidden Memory Exotic Ship

All you need to do to pick this Exotic ship up is load into Destiny 2 and head to the H.E.L.M.. Talk to the Mithrax Servitor, and you’ll be given this stunning Fallen-styled ship to float around in. It’s got some pretty nice lore to it that references Zavala remembering a loved one who perished in a Vex attack. Read it below.

“Reaching out, he took a candle. He closed his eyes and cast his memory back to the day of her funeral. The smell of low tide and the rumble of thunderclouds on the horizon. He felt their static charge surge through the salt air and into his body.

He opened his eyes and the wick burst into flame. Zavala smiled. It was just the type of parlor trick she had always enjoyed. Zavala placed the candle amongst its extinguished fellows, soothed by the tiny, flickering flame. He reached back, calling forth another memory:

Her lithe form, curled under the thin blankets in contented sleep. The predawn glow seeping into the room. Her dark curls splayed across the white pillow. Her musky, floral scent. Her clothes strewn across the furniture.

He yearned to reach out and awaken her—see her drowsy smile, hear her voice. But he knew that would transform the experience from memory to fantasy; he wanted to preserve her as she was: perfect and mortal. Then the moment vanished; he was Commander Zavala once more.”

After this, you’ll get a message that explains what happened and how Lakshmi-2 is properly dead. She’s not coming back. Probably. This will also touch on Faction Rallies, and how they’re never coming back. Apparently, all the factions have fled, but this seems like foreshadowing to me. I think we’ll see the factions return in some form in the future.

Let us know if you pick this ship up in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
