Destiny 2 The Dawning Armour 2020 Looks A Little Familiar

Bungie is currently holding a charity drive for Game2Give, which is something that’s raising money for the Bungie Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. It’s all about helping sick kids around the US, a cause we should never shy away from. As part of this, they’re been revealing upcoming details for Destiny 2, and one of them is a bit similar to an older item we’ve had.

The rewards to the community for each milestone are as follows.

• $250k – Dawning 2020 Titan Universal Ornament Concept Art
• $500k – Dawning 2020 Warlock Universal Ornament Concept Art
• $750k – Dawning 2020 Hunter Universal Ornament Concept Art
• $1 Million – Dawning 2020 Legendary Reward Preview
• Every $100k after reaching $1 Million – Guest Lore Reading

If the guest lore reading isn’t Deej I’ll be very disappointed.

Back to the point though, we’ve been given a sneak peek at the upcoming armour for The Dawning 2020. Check it out below.

Thankfully Forbes went above and beyond and put on Year 2’s Dawning armour to show everyone what the similarities are.

As you can see, there are quite a few similarities here. However, I think that’s okay. The thing about The Dawning is that it’s a yearly celebration that’s very similar to Christmas. As such, this armour is basically a Guardian’s version of A Christmas jumper.

I don’t know about you, but I have quite a few Christmas jumpers. They’re amazing, and I would wear them all year round if my wife would let me. Sadly, everyone thinks I’m crazy when I pull them out in the middle of summer on a particularly chilly day.

In Destiny 2, there’s a similar feeling. If you wear your Dawning armour all year round, most Guardians will look at you like you’re crazy. After all, there’s better armour out there to wear. Even with Destiny 2 Transmog now, I don’t think anyone would opt to wear Dawning Armour all year round.
