We’re just one sleep away from Christmas Day, and every Guardian is getting ready to celebrate in whatever form that may take. Some of us at Destiny News Hub are planning on having a pretty standard Christmas Day, during which we’ll play Destiny 2 all day, while others are going to do something strange and talk to their family. Husky Raid has joined in by creating an incredible Christmas video which all of you need to enjoy today.
Don’t be fooled by the title. This is definitely something strange, but Bungie had no part to play in it. Apart from making the game obviously. I love seeing content creators put together videos like this. they serve no purpose, other than to help Guardians celebrate one of the most festive days of the year.
2020 hasn’t been an easy year by any means. Sitting in the UK right now, I can tell you that everything has taken a pretty bad downward spiral the closer we get to the day in fact. However, my spirits are lifted when I’m reminded that Christmas is a time of joy when I get to see my family and enjoy loads of the best food on the planet.
We know that for many of you, seeing your family won’t be a possibility this year. I myself can only see one other household due to distance and childcare rules. But Destiny 2 is a window that we can all use to stay in touch with our nearest and dearest. Of course, I mean our fireteams.
Keeping in touch with people over this period is really important. It’s so easy to feel low and lonely, but with Destiny 2 there’s never a need for that. The Destiny 2 Subreddit is a great place to meet nee Guardians and team up with them.
If you’re new to the game, you can use this dedicated project to get together with other Guardians and enjoy your time even more.
For everyone else, whether you’re a veteran or a blueberry, there’s our Discord server. Head there through this link and you’ll find a group of Guardians who are always happy to chat. We want everyone to feel welcomed to this community, regardless of how much you interact. Reach out to us if you want to play a raid or something. I’m no good, but I’ll certainly try.
Let us know what you’re doing for Christmas in the comments.
