Use Prism Days to Your Advantage During Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2021
Make sure you’re optimizing your gameplay.
Solstice of Heroes 2021 is ever so slightly different to past versions of the event in Destiny 2 because of one specific thing: Prism days. These are days that allow you to change the buff you’ve got equipped, and that can be hugely advantageous. You’re also able to charge all of your elemental buffs if you want, but you can only have one enabled at a time. This might not sound very useful, especially if you’re not upgrading your Solstice of Heroes armor, but trust me when I saw that there’s a tactical advantage for you here.
The path to upgrading all of your Solstice of Heroes armor requires you to collect elemental orbs. These are only available on the days that an element is active. For example, you’ll have a Solar buff on Solar days, and that allows you to pick up more Solar orbs than you usually could. While it’s possible to get any type of elemental orb you want at any time, you’ll need to optimize your time if you’re going after a full upgrade for your armor.
This is why Prism days are so useful. You can switch up the buff that you have active, allowing you to collect more of a certain type of elemental orb. This means that you can head out into the European Aerial Zone and collect all the elemental orbs you need. You just need to make sure that you’re swapping between buffs as and when you need to. Keep this up, and you’ll smash those elemental orb goals on your armor in no time.
Of course, there are other tasks that you must complete to upgrade your armor. However, this is just a little tip that can help you boost your way through the easy stuff so that you can focus on the really challenging tasks ahead. This armor is what most Guardians try to upgrade every year. You only have this single opportunity to get it, so you need to make the most of it while the event is active. Don’t forget about Prism days, they’re so much more useful than we give them credit for.
