How To Get Bottom Dollar In Destiny 2 Season Of The Chosen
How to get the new best Hand Cannon in the game.
Season of the Chosen has brought a new Hand Cannon to the front of everyone’s wishlist, Bottom Dollar. This weapon is already messing enemies up all over the place in Destiny 2, and with good reason. It’s got some great stats and perks, but it’s not that easy to pick up. In this guide, we’ll cover why Bottom Dollar is so good, and how you can get it.
How To Get Bottom Dollar
Let’s get the hard part out of the way first. You can only get Bottom Dollar from Gambit, and possibly Trials of Osiris. I don’t know how true it is that you can pick it up from Trials, but I have seen some reports so we can’t rule it out just yet.
What I know for sure is that this is available in the loot drop pool for Gambit. The more you play Gambit, the better your chances of picking it up. Unfortunately there’s not much you can do to increase your chances of grabbing it apart form playing a lot. Make sure you’ve got loads of bounties from The Drifter to complete at all times, and keep pushing up your Infamy rank.
Why Is Bottom Dollar So Good?
The key to what makes this weapon so good is the 120 rounds per minute it fires. It’s also an energy weapon, meaning it uses an element. I’ve only seen it with Void, but that doens’t mean it can’t drop with another element.
The perk pool for this thing is massive. It can have pretty much anything, and that makes it worth playing through Gambit for over and over until you’ve got a roll that works for you.
The best one I’ve seen has Dragonfly and Rangefinder. With these two perks combined, the weapon can get incredible precision kills almost every time. You’ve got much better zoom on it, and you’ll be causing a big explosion when you get that precision kill. Of course, something that boosts your reload time such as Outlaw would also be an incredible combination for Dragonfly.
If you’ve accidentally picked this up, know that you have one of the best Hand Cannons in the game right now. Tell us what your roll is like in the comments.
