Destiny 2 Dead Exo Locations Guide

Destiny 2 Beyond Light brought a lot of new content to Destiny 2. One of the more notable bits of content takes the form of dead Exo bodies. These are littered around Europa, and you’ll find them as part of a quest called Salvage the Past. These only appeared after the completion of Deep Stone Crypt, so you know the reward for this quest is going to be something good.

You can find all of the Exo bodies as soon as you want. They’re actually part of the quest that awards The Lament, our favourite new Exotic Sword. What follows is each location.

Exo Body 1 – Camdus Ridge

Head to the Camdus Ridge area of Europa on the map. If you come into Camdus Ridge from the south, head for the middle of the area. There’s a plateau there where the body is lying.

Exo Body 2 – Eventide Ruins

Head north to Eventide Ruins and get to the northernmost point. You’ll know you’re in the right area because the rooms are a sickly red colour. Look north yet again for some columns, the Dead Exo is lying next to one of these.

Exo Body 3 – Asterion Abyss

Get to Asterion Abyss and look to the east. There’s a structure on the outer edge of the area, but just before it should be an outcropping of ice. Head there, and right where what looks like a road goes up, is a dead Exo.

Exo Body 4 – Well of Infinitude

This area is on the east side of Europa on the map. This is actually a tricky one to get to, and you need to go through the path you can see on the map from Asterion Abyss. Follow this closely, even over the white liquid, and you’ll be fine.

The Exo body is actually on the opposite side of the pool to the side you approach it from. There’s a small ledge on the back wall. Explore the area thoroughly, and you’ll find the location.

Exo Body 5 – Bray Exoscience

Now you need to go to Bray Exoscience. You can see it on the map. Once inside the main room, go up the stairs to your right and into that door at the top. Before you advance any further, check the right-hand side of the room for a dead Exo.

Exo Body 6 – Creation

Now you’re heading to Creation. You’ll actually have been here before as part of the quest to earn The Lament. The Exo body is down in the main server area, where the platforms are blue under your feet. Next to one of the outcroppings that look like standard metal, is an Exo body.

Exo Body 7 – Peredition Lost Sector

This is the first of three Lost Sectors containing an Exo body. Push through Peredition until you’ve killed the final boss. On the left-hand side of the room is a dead Exo body.

Exo Body 8 – Concealed Void Lost Sector

Now we’re into the Concealed Void Lost Sector. As with the last Lost Sector, push through and kill the boss. Beyond the reward chest is a second crate. Next to it, is a dead Exo.

Exo Body 9 – Bunker E15 Lost Sector

This is the final Exo body you need to find. Hit the Bunker E15 Lost Sector and get to the point where you’re freeing frames. Now, when you’re at the long walkway, look across and you should see some stairs. Run over, and look under those stairs for a dead Exo.
