We’re At 8 Billion Polarized Fractaline

One Guardian has pointed out that we must be pretty close to finishing off the Empyrean Foundation community challenge. In fact, through the power of stats we can understand exactly where we are with the challenge, how much we’ve donated, and how close we are to finally getting the big payoff from this whole thing.

8 Billion Donated

Over on Reddit, one Guardian named RPDC posted that through Warmind.io we can track exactly where we are in regards to our progress with Polarized Fractaline donations. If you check it today, which will be a few hours after I’ve just check it, you’ll see that we’ve passed 8 billion Polarized Fractaline donations.

Forbes have also seen this, and they’ve done some maths. It takes 3 seconds for a Guardian to donate 100 Polarized Fractaline, if we were to try to donate all of the Fractaline required to hit the community goal by ourselves, we would spend 3,395 days just pressing the buttons. Thank the Traveler that we don’t have to do all of that by ourselves, and that we can all work together.

The ultimate goal that we need to hit is 9,777,777,700 Polarized Fractaline donated. That’s just over 2 billion more from where we are now. Considering how quickly we managed to hit the last goal, 6 billion, we should have no issues hitting this next one pretty quickly from here on.

If Forbes are correct, our progress has actually sped up since the challenge began. I think that the more Guardians who jump into Destiny 2 towards the end of Season of Dawn, whether they’re looking to complete their season passes, or whether they just want to be a part of the community event, it’s all helping push this goal just a little quicker.

I’ve not been donating as much Fractaline as I should be, and I know there will be Guardians out there who are the same, time limited with a big backlog of other games to play. To all of those Guardians, and myself, I think the most important thing is to try to be involved in some small way in this challenge, because it will mean that we get that awesome title at the end of it.
