Bungie has just dropped a lot of big details about Season of the Worthy. The biggest piece of information is confirmation that the new season starts on the 10th of March, which is just a week away at this point. We also know a bit more about what we’ll be doing in the season, so let’s dive in and take a look at it all, starting with this badass new trailer.

The Cabal Don’t Care

The danger of destroying an enemy’s efforts to destroy you over and over again is that they get desperate. That’s exactly what’s happened to the Cabal, and now they’re taking things to an extreme level. The remains of the Red Legion will destroy the engines of The Almighty, the giant sun-destroying engine that’s currently sitting around Mercury, sending it plummeting towards the Last City on Earth. This is bad, and we need to do everything in our power to stop it.

Stopping such a massive danger requires a massive force, and that force is Rasputin. Guardians will be powering the Warmind up to combat this massive new threat through Seraph Towers, which seem to be a new Public Event type. There will also be Rasputin Challenge Bunkers filled with powerful enemies who have taken over key communication points for Rasputin. It’s our duty to clear those out and make everything hunky dory for the ancient machine.

Other New Info

There’s a lot of miscellaneous information out there too so we’ll just blitz through it. First up is the new Exotic Weapon, Tommy’s Matchbook. We’re not sure what it is, but it looks beautiful.

The Seasonal Artifact is called Warmind Khanjali. It’s the sword seen in the last Season of the Worthy teaser image. It looks pretty great, and seems like it might be a key of some sort for activating Rasputin in the final moments of the next season.

It looks like Rasputin will be providing us with a wealth of new weapons to earn. There’s also an Exotic Shotgun that looks a lot like The 4th Horseman from Destiny 1.

Season Of The Worthy Roadmap

Take a look at this beauty, better than the fake. We’ll do an in-depth analysis soon.

That’s all for now. Let us know what you think of all this new information in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
