Season of Arrivals has brought out the best in most Guardians. While some of you out there succumbed to the latest exploit, this piece of community news is actually more heartwarming than anything we’ve seen in a very long time.

A Guardian by the name of PresentPossible over on Reddit was so inspired by the coming return of the Cosmodrome on the EDZ that they wrote a song. Okay, they didn’t write a song as such, they wrote a parody. But this is a parody of one of the greatest songs of all time, and it shares some connotations with another huge MMO, Fallout 76.

This is Take Me Home Cosmodrome.

Isn’t that one of the best versions of Take Me Home Country Roads that you’ve ever seen? Well, it’s the best Destiny version of the song that I’ve ever seen.

I can’t wait for a Guardian to pick this up and sing it to the tune as well. I’d bet that the video of that would make it into Bungie’s videos of the week any Thursday.

This song is more than just a lovely little side project for one Guardian though. This shows that we’re once again getting back to the heart of Destiny. We’re having fun and messing around, which is what this game was all about when Destiny 1 was the best MMO on the market.
