Destiny 2 The Compass Rose God Rolls
Try to pick these up if you have the time.
The Compass Rose is the new Legendary shotgun that has been added to Destiny 2 with Solstice of Heroes 2021. It’s got some decent stats on it, and some great potential perks. However, we all really want to know what the best rolls for this weapon are, and that’s something that takes time. Luckily, we’ve done a fair bit of research, and can now tell you what rolls you should be looking for when this weapon drops in your lap. First, let’s remind you of the stats, then we’ll show you a couple of god rolls that will blow enemies away.
- Impact – 70
- Range – 66
- Stability – 47
- Reload Speed – 53
- Handling – 42
- Magazine – 5
- Rounds per Minute – 65
- Aim Assistance – 73
- Recoil – 75
- Zoom – 12
- Inventory Size – 45
- Bounce Intensity – 25
- Bounce Direction – Tends Vertical
The Compass Rose God Roll 1
This first god roll is more focused on PvP than anything.
- Quickdraw – Weapon is drawn unbelievably fast
- Light Mag – Increases reload speed and range
- Barrel Shroud – Increases stability and handing speed
As you can see, this is all about getting the shotgun out as fast as possible and maintaining that aim while you blow a Guardian away. Of course, it’ll work just fine in PvE activities too. The real focus here is definite on killing other Guardians though, and that’s definitely something you can do if you pick the weapon up with this roll.
The Compass Rose God Roll 2
This weapon simply isn’t great for PvE, however, this roll will make it better for those activities.
- Vorpal Weapon – Increases damage against Guardians with their Super active, bosses, and vehicles
- Smoothbore – Massively increased range while pulling back projectile speed
- Steady Rounds – Increases stability and decreases range
As you can see, this roll turns this into a close quarters weapon. If you’re not up close and personal, you probably won’t be dealing any effective amount of damage. This could also work quite well in PvP though, and I think that’s what Bungie has been going for with it. Clearly there was an intention behind this weapon, and PvP is probably it.
