Destiny 2 Stochastic Variable God Rolls and How to Get it

Stochastic Variable is a Legendary Weapon added with Season of the Splicer that seems to be doing the rounds at the moment. From what we can see, there’s one key reason for this: Phase Magazine. This is a perk that basically transforms the Lightweight Frame into a Precision Frame, making for a powerful and viable SMG to have in your arsenal. In this article, we’re going to cover a couple of god rolls for it so you know what to look for.

You acquire this weapon by opening Legendary Engrams and Reputation Packages. Just rank up as much as you can and make sure you’re opening everything to give yourself the best chance of picking it up. Now, let’s dive into the stats and perks.

• Impact – 15
• Range – 40
• Stability – 42
• Handling – 55
• Reload Speed – 34
• Rounds per Minute – 900
• Magazine Size – 36

Hidden Stats

• Aim Assistance – 52
• Inventory Size – 40
• Zoom – 13
• Recoil – 95
• Bounce Intensity – 5
• Bounce Direction – Tends Vertical

So these aren’t absolutely terrible, but it’s the perks that make this weapon worth going for. Let’s look at a couple of god rolls now that are worth your time.

Stochastic Variable God Roll 1

• Multikill Clip – Reloading will grant bopnus damage based on the number of rapid kills you’ve achieved prior to it
• Ambitious Assassin – Overflows your magazine based on the number of rapid kills your achieved prior to reloading
• Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability and range and allows bullets to bounce off of hard surfaces
• Corkscrew Rifling – Increased range, stability, and handling speed

As you can see, this is a very PvE based roll, and focuses on giving you more ammo per reload so you can keep on firing for longer. For any SMG, longer periods of shooting are great, so this is probably the best build you want to go into any situation with.

Stochastic Variable God Roll 2

• Quickdraw – Weapon is drawn ridiculously fast
• Zen Moment – Causing damage with the wepaon increases stability
• Ricochet Rounds – Increases stability and range and allows bullets to bounce off of hard surfaces
• Corkscrew Rifling – Increased range, stability, and handling speed

This is the PvP build. It’s designed to get the weapon up fast so you can take down your targets. There’s no much point in going in with your PvE roll here because the extra ammo doesn’t mean a thing if your enemy draws before you even see them.
