Find them and kill them for all your quests.

Where to Find Powerful Fallen in Destiny 2

There are numerous quests in Destiny 2 that require you to find specific enemy types. Powerful enemies are usually among them, and in this article, we’re going to cover how to find Powerful Fallen enemies. The most recent quest of note that included killing enemies like this was for the Solstice of Heroes 2021 armor. You’ll almost certainly come across a quest requirement like this at some point in your journey with Destiny 2. It’s simply a matter of when not if. The following are activities in which you can find Powerful Fallen enemies to kill.

Gambit

It’s not everyone’s favorite mode, but Gambit can be packed with Powerful Fallen foes if you get the right match. It’s hard to guarantee what enemies you’ll be facing in this game mode, but if you have a bit of time spare, it’s a good way to rack up some bounties, kill some enemies, and have a great time whilst searching for Powerful Fallen. You’ll be matched up with them eventually, so don’t worry about finding them.

Public Events

Obviously, you need to be checking Public Events that are in areas with Fallen enemies. Focus on the EDZ and Cosmodrome because that’s where they’re most concentrated. You stand a better chance of facing Powerful Fallen if you convert these into Heroic Public Events. There are special requirements within each Public Event that you can complete to push the event to be even more challenging and therefore contain more powerful enemies.

Lost Sectors

Once again, focus on the Lost Sectors in areas where the Fallen are common. These always contain at least one Powerful Fallen enemy as the boss, but it can take a while to grind them out if this is the only activity you’re chasing. Try to use a combination of all three of these methods to progress quickly.

You’ll stand a better chance of finding Powerful Fallen foes if you go for the daily and weekly Heroic Lost Sectors too. Don’t neglect these, because they can be a great source of kills that you need to rack up in order to earn the loot you’re chasing.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
