How to Get First Curse in Destiny 2

First Curse is a new(ish) Hand Cannon that’s making the rounds in the Destiny 2 community. There’s a quest to pick it up, but it’s not that straightforward. In this guide, we’ll cover how you can get this weapon and begin blasting skulls with it.

This is a legacy weapon, one that was actually in Destiny 1. To pick it up, you’ve first got to find the quest.

To access the quest for this weapon, you need to head back and complete the mission called Passage on The Tangled Shore. At one point in this mission, you’ll enter a ship where there are purple flowers.

Look up at the top of the room. You should see an air conditioning hatch up there that you can fit through. Jump onto the valves around the room so that you can enter this passage. Keep going along the passage until it opens up with a hatch above your head.

Now do the same again. Jump on the valves and enter the next passage in the ceiling. On your right, you’ll now see an item that you can investigate. When you do, you’ll get the quest to earn this weapon.

First, you’ll need to go and see Zavala. He’ll then task you to get 200 Hand Cannon kills on Cabal. Not that difficult with Battlegrounds activities all around us. These guys drop Stolen Weapon parts, and you need to collect those too. Finally, you need to pick up 50 Scorn kills in a particular location.

The last step of the quest is in the Cosmodrome. You need to head to the barn-like building in the southeast. It’s guarded by enemies. Get inside and go downstairs. You need to find the object to investigate here as well. This will open a door to a new room.

Head inside and locate the room guarded by enemies. You’ll need to kill all of them and get inside. First Curse is hidden inside this room, waiting for you to discover it.
