How To Complete Copies of Copies: Destiny 2 Beyond Light Guide

The second week of Deep Stone Crypt challenges has opened up with everyone’s favorite boss on day 1, Atraks-1. If you’re like me, and want that extra chest at the end of the encounter, or are going for the Descendant title, you’ll need to know how to do Copies of Copies.

How To Complete Copies of Copies

The short answer: do not shoot the Atraks-1 Replication debuffs out of the airlock.

Completing this challenge is fairly simple on the surface, but it quickly becomes chaotic as the Operator has to constantly juggle an increasing amount of debuff refreshes without picking up the debuff themselves.

In order to keep the stress on Operator light and breezy, you’ll want to set up the damage to one phase Atraks. This is most easily done with the Lament sword and a Lucid Blade Charged With Light build.

How to One Phase Atraks

We’ll start with a 4-2 split, with 4 guardians upstairs and 2 downstairs. The four players upstairs will consist of the upstairs Scanner, the Operator, and 2 roaming DPS players. After the first DPS phase upstairs, the Scanner will grab the debuff, and then act as normal, sending Scanner downstairs. The 2 roaming DPS players will then move downstairs to damage Atraks there. I’m sure you can see the rotation from here, as the DPS guardians will go back upstairs for more damage.

Whoever picks up the debuff downstairs will also go upstairs, and stay there. If that’s one of the DPS guardians, that’s okay at this point, as you should be close to final stand.

Have Operator continue to refresh the debuffs, continue the DPS rotation and once you hit final stand, it should be smooth sailing. If you end up hitting a second Servitor phase, that’s okay, but juggling the debuffs will get much more difficult.

Best of luck guardians, and let us know if this guide was helpful!
