Unfortunately, you may have noticed a bit of a problem when Trials of Osiris went live last week. Guardians all playing on the day it went live were all experiencing the same issue, no loot drops were coming at all.

No Loot Till Saturday

Bungie got on top of the issue pretty quickly, stating that they understood it, but it needs a patch in order to be fixed.

Basically this means that for the next two weeks of Trials of Osiris, you actually need to wait until Saturday if you want to play for rewards, which you obviously do. Really we should be getting rewards for the third, fifth, and seventh win, but if you play on Friday that just won’t happen.

Bungie can’t even give those Guardians who went flawless, or made it to their third, fifth, or seventh wins, the rewards they should have earned.

Given that Bungie employees are now working from home, it’s hardly surprising that they can’t be as responsive to the issue as they usually would be. They will be doing the best they can, you know that’s true, so we all really need to bear with them and let them get the fix out when they can.

What Do You Do Now?

As far as playing Trials of Osiris goes, wait until Saturday. I know lots of you have been looking forward to playing the game mode every Friday, but it’s only for two weeks. For some Guardians, this might mean that you don’t get a chance to play the game mode at all, but that is, sadly, a sacrifice you’ll have to make.

With self-isolation now spreading fast, it’s possible that you have even more chances to play Destiny 2. We suggest using your Friday sessions to work on upgrading your Warmind Bunkers. These will almost certainly play into the endgame of Season of the Worthy, so ignoring them will be something you suffer for in the long run.

Some Guardians went flawless on Friday last week, and they won’t be getting their rewards. Don’t make the same mistake. Let us know what you think of the issue in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
