Solstice of Heroes 2020 is very much live, and there’s no better time to pick up your armour and start upgrading it, as we do every year. This year there’s a particularly good reward on offer, because you can take this armour and wear it for the whole of Year 4, it’ll never be rendered useless by a new season for as long as Year 4 is live.

In this guide we’re going to cover exactly how you upgrade your Solstice of Heroes armour in 2020. The Guardians over at Raidsecrets on Reddit have kindly uncovered every file and fact about the event, which is where we’ve gathered this information from. We’ll keep an eye out once the event goes live to see if it’s still accurate, but take these with just a tiny pinch of salt for now.

Now we know, the Glow requirement is the same for all three Classes. That’s something that Bungie has put in place, because otherwise this would be absolutely insane to pull off across all three characters.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
