Destiny 2 Praedyth’s Revenge God Rolls

The fabled Praedyth’s Revenge is now available in Destiny 2 because the Vault of Glass has been conquered. Guardians from around the world can head inside and claim this fan-favourite weapon for themselves. However, just because it drops from a raid, that doesn’t mean it’s any good. In this guide, we’ll show you a couple of great god rolls for this weapon, and run you through why you might want to use them. First, the stats.

Stats

  • Impact – 55
  • Range – 41
  • Stability – 46
  • Handling – 73
  • Reload Speed – 67
  • Rounds per Minute – 140
  • Magazine Size – 5

Hidden Stats

  • Aim Assistance – 78
  • Inventory Size – 60
  • Zoom – 49
  • Recoil – 55
  • Bounce Intensity – 45
  • Bounce Direction – Tends Vertical

Perks

Perks are what separates a weapon from being just any old thing to a god roll that will help you through the toughest of challenges. We’ve got a couple of good rolls that we think are worthy of godhood here, but you’ll have to decide for yourself.

Praedyth’s Revenge God Roll 1

  • Fluted Barrel – Increases handling speed and stability.
  • Tactical Mag – Increases stability, reload speed and magazine size.
  • Rewind Rounds – When this weapon’s magazine is empty, it refills from reserves based on the number of hits.
  • High-Impact Reserves – Rounds at the end of the magazine deal more damage.

This is really the only useful roll for PvE engagements. Tactical Mag gives you increased mag size, giving extra uptime for Rewind Rounds and this Hight-Impact Reserves. It also leaves your mod slot open for Boss Spec rather than Backup Mag. Combined, these perks give you the best DPS you can get for PvE. Frenzy is ok too, but doesn’t do as much DPS as High-Impact Reserves will with this roll.

Praedyth’s Revenge God Roll 2

  • Fluted Barrel – Increases handling speed and stability.
  • Accurized Rounds – Increases range.
  • Quickdraw – This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast.
  • Opening Shot – Improved accuracy and range on the opening shot of attack.

Unfortunately, Praedyth’s can’t roll with Snapshot Sights. However, it can still come with some potent combinations, such as this one. Accurized Rounds gives you more range, but Steady Rounds is also a decent pick. Quickdraw is my personal pick for the first column, but depending on your playstyle you might prefer No Distractions or Moving Target in its place. The choice is ultimately yours, as they all work incredibly well.

Opening Shot is generally just great on snipers, and it can really help with in-air shots. KIll Clip and Firefly can also roll in this column, but Firefly won’t do much for you in PvP, and Kill Clip isn’t really necessary for this sniper to do its job.

Let us know what roll you get with Praedyth’s Revenge with in the comments.

I've been a fan of the Destiny franchise since D1's Alpha, and have followed it avidly ever since. Destiny is a huge part of my life and it's a pleasure to share that here. I'm a big fan of lore speculation and Endgame PvE content.
