How To Get The Destiny 2 Curse Of Osiris Exotic Ghost Shell

Destiny 2 The Curse of Osiris brings a whole host of new content to the game, some of which Bungie spoke about before release and some that’s only now being discovered. One of those things that wasn’t discussed is directly related to something Bungie deliberately avoided talking about, the new Exotic Ghost Shell. This Ghost Shell, as you can see from the image, is basically Sagira and offers Guardians a bunch of new Mercury-related perks that will really help push through the new Destiny 2 end game.

How do you get this new fancy Ghost Shell then?

Well first things first you need to finish the Curse of Osiris campaign. Before that’s done nothing else in this guide is going to happen because it’s all locked in the new Destiny 2 end game. With the new campaign finished you need to go and see Brother Vance because now he’s offering you something called Lost Prophecies. These are a set of, initially 10, 11 verses that have specific items that are collected from different activities in order for you to complete them. Upon completion you can use the Forge in the Lighthouse to craft one of 10 exclusive weapons that are only available from this process.

Whilst completing these 10 verses you may be given a quest from Brother Vance that results in you getting a nice new Shotgun. This quest can drop at any point while working through the verses, but at the very least it will drop when you’ve completed all 10.

Once this, which is effectively the 11 verse, is complete you’ll have an Emblem and a shiny new Exotic Ghost Shell drop. The shell is called Sagira’s Shell, and the Perks on it are; Scion of Mercury, which increases Glimmer earned and the chance to obtain more faction consumables on Mercury, Omni-telemetry, which generates Gunsmith Telemetry data on any elemental weapon kills, and You’re Welcome, which detects caches and resources within a 75 metre radius on Mercury.

If you’re trying to earn this quickly then you need to finish the Curse of Osiris questline as fast as you can. Once that’s done you can pick up all three of these verses per week from Brother Vance to maximise your chance of getting through all 11 sooner. As time goes on it looks like Bungie will only try to improve the endgame of Destiny 2, which means activities like this on planets like Mercury, so getting through this as soon as possible will mean you’re ready for whatever comes next. Let us know what you think in the comments.

I'm an avid Destiny 2 fan and player. I fell in love with Destiny 1 during the early alpha and have been hooked by the universe ever since. I really enjoy playing with other Guardians, speculating about the lore, and writing about as much of the Destiny universe as I can.
